The ice cream here is worth whatever wait there is. We had it twice while we were in savannah and every flavor we tried was awesome. My personal favorite was the pistachio

Definately worth trying. We stayed at Marshall House, we ended up checking from our balcony to see when line was short. I had scoop of chocolate raspberry and cocunut, and my husband had peanut butter chippie. All were great: very light and creamy in texture. Wonderful atmosphere with 50s music playing, suggest eating inside! Room beside the soda fountain has... More

Homemade ice cream in unique, delicious flavored. The peanut butter chippy was my favorite. Hubby had the Tuitti Fruitti- an original from 1919 and the inspiration behind Johnny Mercer's (sang by Little Richard) song. The long lines (at least 30 minutes!) are worth the wait. They constantly send friendly employees out with water. Once you do make it in, the... More

We went past this place several times while in Savannah and each time the line was at least 50 people long. At last, we went at 5pm and success! A reasonable wait. After my experience, I understand why this place is so popular. Root beer floats, old school service and vibe, this is a true ice cream parlor. I got... More

There was quite a wait for this ice cream parlor but they came through the line with ice water and menus. The service was very fast and friendly and the ice cream was amazing.

Very good and friendly staff. We didn't have to wait long. I guess we got there at just the right time. We both ordered shakes and had plenty! We stopped by on a Tuesday night before 7 and they were passing out balloons and taking pictures with the kids. The kids that could say the Pledge of Allegiance got a... More

Perfect stop at the end of our historic Savannah walk. Ice cream was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. I think the prices are probably a little inflated but they get away with it.

Excellent homemade ice cream and delicious lunch specialties offered for a light lunch (sandwiches, wraps and salads) before ice cream indulgences. Great atmosphere with movie memorabilia, too.

We went just for ice cream. Awesome ice cream. Fabulous atmosphere. Lunch items looked great too. Worth the wait. We got lucky- walked right in, at noon on a hot July Wednesday! Line was out the door by the time we left, and I heard it goes around the block. So easy to see why!

A trip to Savannah is not complete without a visit to Leopolds Ice Cream. There is always a wait, but so worth it. I try a different flavor each time and have loved them all. My hubby gets the rum bisque every time. SO creamy and delicious!
