Not only is the menu great, (never had a bad meal), but it's extremely inexpensive as well. At night they have cheap cocktails, beer, etc and great live music.

Ciaira, thank you for your question. At The Bayou Cafe, we actually cook the sausage seperate so we can offer the red beans and rice as a Vegetarian option.

I think it would be fine for an earlier dinner. There are TONS of restaurants on the water, though. You can always pop in, look around, and decide to move on to another place fairly easily.
