We dined at Elizabeth on a Sunday evening. The food was tasty, but not very inventive. The beef tenderloin was nicely done with a classic pepper/cream/madiera sauce, but the presentation was bland. For $40, it should have been better. Service was OK, but scripted. The wine was nice, but listing a 13-year-old Sonoma Syrah (which was nice) in the "Fresh... More

This restaurant is an obvious "special occasion" destination, offering a nice range of seasonal dishes plus daily specials. We elected to share all three of the daily special apps, all of which were great. We then enjoyed mains that were equally good. The wine list offers a wide range of choices. Although some of the wines seem overpriced, there were... More

This restaurant epitomizes the good fortune of the wandering gourmet - somewhere there is a confluence of talent, energy, imagination, perseverance, fidelity to all of the best of craft, style, finesse, and elbow-grease. It is truly a joy to experience the simple yet different variants on southern low-country cooking made with great elegance, skill and perfection. The pork chop is... More

We were recommended from a Savannah resident. Food was bland, courses served without silverware and we were seated in an unattractive porch. I suppose since they did not know us they sat us in the overflow space and not in the main attractive restaurant. This is not a place for foodies but for plain food eaters that want generous portions.... More

We dined here on our 5th wedding anniversary. We have had many good meals but this experience has taken a top spot in our dining experiences. Everyone on staff was friendly and professional and Greg our waiter was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. We had the scallops appetizer and for entrees the flounder and the red snapper.... More

What a wonderful experience. This quaint restaurant was recommended by a friend who is a chef and I must say, he did not disappoint! Walked into what seemed like an old Mansion transformed into a beautiful dining venue. We were welcomed by an awesome staff and sat at a quiet table for two. We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine... Absolutely phenomenal experience! My wife took me for my birthday and our experience was fantastic. The service was second to none from the time we entered. The appetizers were phenomenal and the main was incredible. Loved every second of this and have a new favorite in Savannah.

After multiple Savannah Music Festival visits, we finally booked our Elizabeth dinner reservation well in advance. The converted mansion is lovely; the service is unobtrusive and gracious; the food is classic and wonderful. Remarkably, the entree portions are large and the wine by the glass pours are generous. Although not priced for frequent dining, the overall experience was memorable and... More

We were told this was a "go to" place in Savannah - and I concur. This restaurant is about a 15 minute drive from the Westin (on the other side of the river). Parking was 'challenging'... but when we left, we saw that everyone just parked on the street out front. We did park on a side street in an... More

Appreciated the impeccable service in a private room upstairs. Rather than waiting any longer for our table to come open. I had the flounder which was excellent and soup was Cadillac onion over shrimp. Fine wine list
