A local had taken my husband to eat there when he was in town on business. When I got there to meet him he couldn't stop talking about it and wanted to take me there immediately. It was just as good as he described. If you didn't know what you were looking for you would pass this little dining room... More

The dining style is family style. You sit at a table of 10 people and the table is filled with as many side dishes as you can imagine and they bring the fried chicken and biscuits. No one leaves hungry!! Amazing food and a great experience. You must have cash to,pay and they are only open for lunch. There is... More

Really fun experience. After a queue outside (can imagine this is hellish in busy times), you get called in in groups of 10 so you'll be sitting round a table with strangers - which was great for us! Food is then served and is very typical Southern fayre and plenty of it (we counted 24 different dishes). Set cost of... More

Wow. Food was great. We lucked out and only had to wait about 20 minutes to get seated. Was told it is normal to wait an hour or more. So much food. The fried chicken was the best. Definitely at place to visit.

This is not for those who prefer or want "elevated" dining. This is old south, home cooking. It's a very fun atmosphere and a wonderful experience. You When you come in you'll be led to a table prepared for you to be seated and start eating immediately; the same table where you'll eat with people you may not know, unless... More

My travelling companion had never been to Savannah and we took the day trip from Myrtle Beach. Busy day and road time but a really fabulous meal. I had been there years ago and wanted to share this adventure. We waited in line for over an hour but by the time we were seated we knew our dining companions. Friendly... More

My husband couldn’t understand the concept of waiting in line, early in the morning, to eat lunch. He’s glad he did. We enjoyed chatting with the others in line, and took turns strolling the street. Enjoyed peeking into people’s garden gates. Food was great! Took a little of almost everything. Fun to sample some vegetables we never had before. Man... More

After attending the Veterans Day parade on November 11, 2016, we decided to stop by and dine here. We got in line around 1:15PM. While standing in line, we met alot of people from Philadelphia, New Jersey and other states. Mrs. Wilkes granddaughter came out twice to cut off the line but people kept sneaking in line...until her son came... More

More food than you can possibly eat. 22 items on the table and you sit at a big table with strangers. Really cool.

Went for lunch. Loved eating at a "family table" with several others who stood in line with us. Best fried chicken and the large assortment of sides was unreal. If you leave hungry...it's your own fault!

Thank Annette E
