I wish I could remember the name of our server, but he really made our day. His knowledge of the rum was extremely informative and his conversation was very welcoming. I didn’t know flights of rum were a thing, but by the time we left...More

Definitely more of a family friendly restaurant than we anticipated. 3 our if 4 of our guests had steaks and they were ok. One guest had the Shrimp and Grits and claims it was the best he had.

This was a great place to visit with family and friends. Our waiter was hilarious and he played with kids all night. The history of the home was interesting. Food was delicious especially the maple pecan chicken. I recommend sharing-the portions are huge!

A staple on any visit to Savannah for tourists but the food is unexpectedly good. Atmosphere is fun and light and the pecan fried chicken is to die for!! Don’t forget your souvenir mug!!

We went here on the last night of our family vacation and it was great. The food was awesome, no one was disappointed in what they ordered. They were a little pricey for the portion size but the atmosphere and the great service helped make...More

The food is great, next time I will wait and get a table in old part of the restaurant. This is a historical place. The oldest part was built in 1754.

Had lunch buffet and everything we sampled was fantastic. Staff were welcoming and attentive. My 7 year old son loved the pirate hat they brought to table for him. Gidt shop upstairs was great and prices were very affordable and not marked up. No haunted...More

We chose this restaurant for the history and the food was ok. Not great! Glad we experienced this establishment but will most likely not go back.

The entire family is sure to enjoy Savannah's most intriguing & historic restaurant. At the Pirates' House, our most precious treasure is the food. Situated in Trustees Garden, merely a scant block from the Savannah River, the Famous Pirates' House is the most historic spot in Georgia. The Herb House, erected in 1734, located inside the Pirates' House, is said to be the oldest house in Georgia. The Pirates' House first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers and fast became a meeting point for blood-thirsty pirates & sailors. Enthusiastically recommended by AAA, Food & Wine and Redbook.
