The restaurant is located on a small quiet corner in the beautiful Bolton Hill neighborhood of Baltimore. Parking can a bit of a challenge, but street parking can be found in the area. The restaurant is not large with an open kitchen and also has a dining area on the street out front. We started on the deck out front... More

I've always liked b bistro, but this time it was awful. I had a friend coming from New York so we ere late and not very hungry, but they only had a prix fixe menu for $69 and not the half price wine they normally have on Tuesdays. There was no notification on their web site about the menu on... More

Crazy to dine out on this holiday but on a Tuesday we thought the crowds would not be too crazy at b. Jason was apologetic about the 15 minute wait but complimentary champagne eased the pain. The food was delicious and choices abundant on the 4 course prix fixe. Lobster bisque, seared tuna, lobster Mac and cheese, shrimp and grits,... More

Full disclosure: I did not dine here! I did, however, research Baltimore restaurants for my wife and 12 of her friends while they were visiting Baltimore and booked a table here. I am happy to report that the 13 LOVED their meal here. They found a cute, lively bistro with a diverse menu, and great service! It was a welcoming... More

A favorite when I lived in B'more. French done right. Great setting, especially the open kitchen. Hit there during restaurant week, and while less choices, you can't beat the 3 course for $30. Had the arugula salad, which got the palate ready for rosé and bread. Next the trout almondine, which was light and buttery. Fish perfectly cooked. Final course... More

We did not know when we made our reservations on-line that it was restaurant week. The menu was very limited but the manager let us order some food that was not on the special menu. In spite of being short handed, our food was brought in a timely manner and was hot and delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant... More

We had a lovely dinner mid week seated in the front window. Our server, Taylor was helpful with her suggestions on the menu. Wine list was varied and reasonable. In the neighborhood of Bolton Hill which is a hidden gem. Street parking available

Went for an early dinner after a BSO performance. Restaurant reminds me of a restaurant in New York. Just my kind of restaurant, but there were a few strange things that would make me think about returning. Menu was small but well balanced. I had a steak dish that was supposed to come with crispy farrow. It was served with... More

I was in town in July to see the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra perform the songs of David Bowie. What better place to have dinner before the show than a great little neighborhood Bistro called...B. We were visiting Baltimore during restaurant week and we were fortunate to have picked this charming eatery. The staff were lovely and our dinners were delicious.

My family and I love B and usually go about twice a year for birthdays. This time it was for my brother's birthday. The menu was never extensive, but this time it seemed more trimmed down than usual. The shrimp and grits were awesome, as was the prosciutto, and the 3 cheese platter. Everything was very good...steak, burgers, trout, my... More
