We were visiting from out of town and received this restaurant recommendation and it did not disappoint. The chicken and biscuits, while very unconventional, was so moist and amazing. We will definitely be back.

Many of my reviews are 5-stars (because I choose really well). We found this spot months ago while visiting son in hospital. Started out as an "escape" from painful process of recovery from car accident. Turned into a destination we'd almost fly to eat (from...More

Way too expensive for the weeds they serve. And trotters! Look it up before you go. If being hip means more to you than good food, then go. It gets very, very old very, very fast.

Woodberry Kitchen is currently coasting on its past reputation & reviews; we were very disappointed after driving up from DC on a Saturday night. The most appealing thing about the restaurant is its location in an old warehouse district several blocks from Union Craft Brewing....More

We went for a day night and sat outside. It was a very cute setting and the staff was nice. Our food was very good. I feel it was bit pricey for what it was, not that it wasn't very tasteful. We have been to...More

When I first went here years ago I was impressed by the atmosphere, food and value. Not so anymore. The space is nice but not unique these days as many places are in repurposed mills and similar spaces. It's really expensive and quite mediocre. Portions...More

A truly imaginative kitchen. Everything is locally sourced, even the craft beers and drinks. I had a delightful local vodka to start. The escarole soup was extraordinary as was the soft shelled crab. A slice of my companion's vegetarian flatbread maintained the high level. This...More

Wife and I received a gift certificate for our anniversary. Six months later we decided to go and made reservations. An hour before our time, they called and asked if it was a special occasion. How nice, and me being an idiot, said no. Anyway,...More

Excellent brunch and lunch menu. What makes everything so tasty is that the ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. The oysters were delicious and the wine list was excellent. Great spot for brunch and for dining al fresco.
