First off, let me state that we were in town during a weekend when folks were staying here in droves from both the Inauguration as well as the Women's March on Washington that we were participating in. That being said, we were forgiving of the very slow service. We opted for the bar at which to eat as we didn't... More

If you are a regular you get special attention. If not, well.... The quality of the food was good. The presentation was average. I wasn't impressed. Parking was a pain.

My husband and I came here on a quiet, chilly Friday evening in December. I had a chicken shawarma with a salad. It tasted great. It did not have too much garlic in it, like other Lebanese restaurants I've been to had. My husband had mehshi and he also enjoyed his food. He said it was easy to chew and... More

Bypassing the brunch crowd elsewhere, we ducked in around 1:30 to have a quiet atmosphere, delicious meal with excellent service. We all felt we had a great selection to choose from, healthy options as well as new and unusual dishes. My favorites were the warm puffy small pita breads - best ever! - spicy hummus, pumpkin kibbeh, and chicken shawarma... More

This is a place for a group of people to enjoy dining. It's not a cozy atmosphere, especially if diners come in with kids. But the menu is varied, the appetizers exotic and great for sharing - hence a group. Not fond of the European style bathrooms, but at least it gives an idea of why foreigners always like our... Attended a wedding reception at Lebanese Taverna in Baltimore on a Saturday evening. They did a fantastic job of getting their dishes out and served tasty, elegant cuisine.

While staying at the Baltimore Marriott for a conference, we wandered to the Lebanese Taverna and found a gem. This is not a spicy set of recommendations but a food set which was savory, interesting, beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyable. We had a delightful server who was attentive and conversant about the local Lebanese scene. All four of us agreed... More

We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We decided to sample numerous appetizers instead of ordering individual meals. We sampled chicken samosas, grape leaves, arnabeet, kafta harra, and Shawarma hommus. Everything was delicious, including the bread! The service was great, and we were able to space everything out a bit.

We were a large group of about 70, and we occupied about half the restaurant. The food had been pre-selected by our hosts and was served family style. Some in our group were unfamiliar with eastern Mediterranean food and weren't completely comfortable with this arrangement at first, but as soon as they began tasting the dishes as they were served...
