The place is old and dirty . Side of Collards - much over salted . Pork Ribs - very dry and over char- ed .. Will not be returning ..... This used to be a great place -

This place is a Diamond in the Rough disguised as a hole in the wall carry-out. Only 4 or 5 bar stools at a small counter for dining inside &there are 2 picnic tables out front.. but what this place lacks in seating arrangements it most definitely makes up for in homemade barbecue and awesome side items! I could go... More

Pros: The food was great! I had mac n cheese, collard greens and dinner rolls as my sides. They were so good that I was halfway finished with them before I began eating the pork ribs. The ribs were very tender and flavorful with the Kansas City Sweet BBQ sauce (you choose from 6 different sauces). I wish I had... More

Just two picnic tables out front, and lots of takeout business. There's a propane tank so maybe this brisket is not wood-smoked, but it sure is delicious, served on bread or a soft kaiser roll with 5 different sauce choices. The pulled pork is good, too, and they serve unsweetened mint iced tea that is a great foil to the... More

Great little place! Ribs here are outstanding! All the sauces are unique and ribs cooked to perfection. Personally I recommend the XXX, Kansas City Spicy is pretty good as well. Seating is limited 5/6 bar stools, and a picnic table out front. The few gripes I have about this place is their Corn bread which has been consistently horrible every... More

This little place gives a big punch. The bbq is great and the portions are very generous. I highly recommend this establishment.

We get carryout here quite often. I think we have had all the items on the menu, and most of the blackboard specials. Their grilled shrimp was moist and delicious. new sauces are always appearing. So glad this eatery is in my neighborhood.

We had two orders of pork ribs and both were excellent but the cornbread was terrible and the dinner roll was stale. The fries were great. Worth a return trip.

We tried the Big Bad Wolf sandwich (brisket, pulled pork and bacon on a roll) and a 1/2 slab of ribs at a cost of $27. By the time we got home (this place is located about 20 mins from our house), the bottoms of both sandwich rolls were soggy and gluey. There were big chunks of fat in with... More

Neighborhood: Not very inviting, but not too far from an area with places to eat and drink that are well reviewed. Just hasn't quite developed into a neighborhood where I think people would want to walk around and shop, eat and drink. Not a lot of parking spaces (on the street) nearby. Atmosphere: This is basically a "shack" with a... More
