One of our favorite places to bring family and friends for dinner. Everything is delicious. Some of my family has started coming for brunch too.

Stopped here (Hampden) while visiting my daughter in college. Cute area with lots of shops and restaurants, Golden West drew us in with the promise of all day breakfast (sometimes you just want breakfast for dinner, you know?). A bit dark and dank inside but the food and service were solid. We started with garlic fries which were delicious (and... More

We were there this past week for brunch and had kids and adults at the table so our brunch included milk and pancakes and Bloody Marys and Huevos Montulenos. We also had a Mimosa, the Farm Plate, Huevos Rancheros, a GW BLT, yogurt bowl and coffee drinks. Everything is very good at GW. They almost always have a line but... More

Generally the food here is very good. The Hopi pancake was flavorful, but the zuccini one was definately not. The brie is placed in slabs on the pancake and then the whole thing is broiled or baked somehow. All the cheese melts and runs away, leaving the pancake swimming in a greasy pool. I poured the liquid off and ate... More

We've been going here for many years, since it was located across the same street in a much smaller location. They have breakfast available all day. Also burgers, quesadillas, huevos rancheros and other interesting items. People who come here the first time are always intrigued by the varied and unique menu. All menus are physically repurposed old vinyl album covers.... More

Different kind of décor. Waited for a table but it was worth it. Food was pricey. Service was good. Walls were covered with different paintings of the last supper and other various groupings. Seating was also creatively put together. ARtsy

I am thinking this is a local favorite with local flavor. The interior was actually not bad if a little crowded. The food I guess was good but I am not a good gauge. Being very picky, the only thing on the menu I could find was a cheese quesadillas and it is hard to screw that up. My partner,... More

We visited this restaurant with our daughter and grand daughter. The menus offers many gluten free and vegetarian items as well a burgers and fries. Interesting drink list too. Interesting shops in the area. Worth a visit.

This a great place for lunch, brunch or dinner. It's very Hampden and serves delicious food complimented by great service! I had the most delicious pancakes: one was brie and zucchini while the other was banana, peanut butter and bacon!

We first started going to the Golden West Cafe years ago. We are loyal cutomers and have followed the restaurant to its most recent location on the avenue. We love that they have a walk up window for sinful tacos when you just need a little something, and don't want to stop for a full sit-down. But we eat inside... More
