It mystifies me that a great many people in Baltimore have no idea that Di Pasquale's Italian Marketplace & Deli has some of the best pizza in the city (if not the best). I realize that you can easily get caught up on The Real Italian, The Porketta or the sides, but the oven is in the middle of the... More

Several years ago, while watching Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives, I discovered this quiet little deli tucked away on a side street in Highlandtown, and I couldn't wait to check them out. I still go often, it's become a staple in my lunch routine, and I've never been disappointed. If you want to get away from mainstream foods, and try... More

We've enjoyed everything we've ever gotten here! The Meatball sub the Real Italian and the Lasagna are our favorites though. The only negative for us is the hours of operation, we wish they were open later each day because we're on the other side of town and can't always get there with rush hour traffic!

The moment you walk in the smells of Italy take over your senses! The homemade breads, the pasta cooking and lasagna baking smell wonderful! I ordered the lasagna; so yummy. Very authentic Italian food. Meatballs were awesome! We will be back soon!!!

I've been there a few times and sometimes I walk away impressed with my food and other times not. They have a nice Italian market section that sells some Old World stuff. I just think it's overpriced.

Snacks, sandwiches or catering ...this please is as legit as they come. I love their large pasta trays to use at luncheons. I highly recommend any of their sandwiches as well.
