We have stopped in for Happy Hour several times. It seems the experience is largely dependent on who is working. The bar is rarely very busy from 4-7 but the service can be fairly lackluster. The bartenders tend to be slow, incomplete with your order and often smell horridly of smoke. I guess they are getting there smoke breaks but... More

We flew into Baltimore on New Years Day, toured the Inner Harbor aquarium and stopped at McCormick's for dinner. It is a very LARGE restaurant, beautiful, well decorated and higher end. We had a wonderful meal, great service and enjoyed the atmosphere!

We stay at the Pier Five Hotel while my husband goes to Johns Hopkins... This restaurant is attached to the hotel on the backside so it is overlooking the Inner Harbor... We were seated by such a sweetheart named Von. I ordered the chefs recommendation of the Atlantic salmon which was delicious! I ordered the string beans and mashed potatoes... More

That had to be the biggest shock to us: They offered A1 with my husband's steak. And anyone who has been to a legit steakhouse knows that great steak is so flavorful that it needs no condiments to mess with the taste. (and btw there's a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse around the corner from McCormick & Schmick's, that we later wish... More

We had a wonderful meal here. From the stuffed mushrooms appetizer to the chef's recommended stuffed salmon to the choice desserts, we enjoyed every last bite! There were a few minor glitches in the service but the manager on duty rectified them at his own initiative and made us feel as valued customers. Probably the best fish and seafood restaurant... The food was relatively pleasant and the service ultimately quite good. HOWEVER- the hordes of tour bus visitors created minor chaos and a very unpleasant ambience, reducing what should have been a relaxed dining experience with lovely views of the harbor, into what felt more like a trip to a (shudder) Cracker Barrel. Between the grumbling and the crowding, nothing... More

A cold December evening, and Open Table gave us just a few seating choices -- how strange, then, to come to a huge hotel-based restaurant (with no signage on Pratt St., unlike Ruth's Chris, to tell you where it is) and find we were in an almost empty restaurant. The booths have really narrow tables, so that your plate is... More

It was cold and we were tired, so we chose to eat here adjacent to our hotel. The fish and chips were very good and the clam chowder was superb. Nice view of the harbor

I read that they had a great Happy Hour and thought we should check it out. We sat in the bar on a slow Monday night and was surprised that the service matched the lack of business. The drinks were good and the calamari was priced at $5 and it was a generous portion but was bland. The stuffed mushrooms... More

The food was amazing, I had the 13oz dry rub steak and it was amazing. The side dishes are massive, service was okay. My family loved it. I recommend it, if you have the money it is. Not cheap at all. But worth it.
