On a recent trip we had a nice dinner there. I had their boef Bourgogne-a house specialty- and it was delicious as was their house Cabernet Sauvignon! Liked it so much we returned for a really early dinner/ late lunch the next day. Found out that dining didn't open til 5 so we ordered several appetizers in the bar -... More

Would have given it a five if the food was not lukewarm. The menu was varied and the setting in the small town of ft Davis appealing. We sat outside in the patio and enjoyed the balmy weather. The wine list was varied. It is a pleasure to travel our country and find good food in rural America

This was the best dinner we had while in the region for 10 days. The building, grounds and decorations are great and very comfortable and inviting. Service was very slow, however. Not sure if they were shorthanded or if this is typical. Even with a reservation, we waited about 10 minutes for a table. Once seated it took over 20... More

We enjoyed our dinner. My son and I both ordered trout and it was delicious. My husband had the steak. The crab cakes were so good that we ordered a second serving - all crab, no filler. Nice wine list and full bar. Food was high quality and the service was good. You need a reservation.

We visited this little jewel of a restaurant and enjoyed cocktail hour and then on to the dining room for dinner. The service in the bar was a little slow due to the fact that the bartender was having to serve food as well as make drinks. Once we got to the dining room, we tried the calamari which was... More

We enjoyed a lovely meal on the patio with our two pups who were welcome there. The shrimp appetizer was delicious and both of our entree's were excellent. We were in a hurry as we had tickets to the Observatory Star Party and the waiter was kind enough to rush our order - wish we would have had more time... More

Wow, what delicious food and in such an unexpected location, with a strong flavor of European cuisine. They must have a great chef... We had a truly fabulous meal here. My partner made dinner out of two Tapas dishes, which reminded her of eating in Spain, they were that good! And my mocha crusted pork tenderloin was melt-in-your-mouth succulent and... More

The food was quite good, but bring your wallet. I thought it was a bit over-priced for what you got, but there aren't a lot of options in the town.

So happy to find delicious food in a lovely setting. Staff were personable, friendly and helpful. We had trout with perfectly cooked asparagus and homemade bread. Complimented by a light Chardonnay and coconut pie. The town of Ft. Davis is charming and accessible.

After a short hike in Fort Davis State Park were looking for a place to eat and passed by. Food was great. Cute atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Make a reservation if possible. We sat at tables in the bar area and I saw several guests turned away/told there was a long wait for a table (this was during spring break week).... More
