My son and I stopped by after the kitchen had closed and were hungry. We had a couple of the calamari appetizers... They were so good that we had 2 more. That's a pretty good recommendation to be coming from a seafood lover.

We chose the Portway because of the reviews for good burgers and beer and it did not disappoint. We happen to be there on " burger Tuesday" and got to enjoy $7 burgers and $2 beers. It was tasty, filled with locals, and has a fun history. We really enjoyed it.

Chill atmosphere, with local flavor. Fantastic clam chowder & great bread!!! Away from downtown bustle, and close walk to Riverwalk Inn & Cannery Hotel.

Went to his little pub because it was within walking distance of our hotel. Had a few drinks....bartender was on his game. Didnt catch his name but he didnt let my husbands beer get completely empty before coming to see if he wanted another. Fast, freindly, handsome young man. I order the Western Burger, it was by far the best... More

On the advice of the docent from the Flavel house museum we checked out Portway for a late lunch. Very rustic with a fun history (shanghaing took place there). The food was really good and plentiful. Would probably stop there again.

Rustic with a lot of local history. Great local bar with excellent food. They have the best bacon blue cheese burger around. Service can be slow at times, but worth the wait. The staff is always friendly and courteous. If you are looking for great food and drink, it is a must try.

Thanks to the advice of our hotel staff, we found our way to the Portway for an amazing dinner in this historic, rustic setting. The prices were quite reasonable and the quality divine. Our server seemed to be the only one working the floor and the bar, but you could barely tell because she was so efficient. Well worth a... More

Friendly staff in an old divey pub environment. Nice front and back patio if you are looking to sit outside and enjoy the view (from the back patio). Food looked like pub-style, I just drank and they pour them stiff! Karaoke on the weekends.

I have been to this small tavern restaurant before and have always loved the food there. The people are outstanding especially one of their bartenders name Jennifer. She was totally fantastic interested in what we wanted friendly. I ordered shrimp the price was phenomenal and the quality was the best. If you want good shrimp and hamburgers and any of... More

Stop here every time we go thru. Great food, drink, and service. It never changes. Plenty of parking and right off Highway 101 and 30 plus it's my first place I get to try my luck with Oregon lottery games.

Thank April C
