You order at the counter from their regular menu or specials listed on the board. All seemed good. Everyone of our party enjoyed their selection. Fun, "funky" place.

We were in town visiting relatives and they suggested we try this place. The food was very good and the atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. A great place to enjoy the food, drink and family. So glad we went here. We would definitely come back again.

Been here a couple times, but my first review. No parking on site at this place, but fortunately there are numerous lots nearby. Also, best to come here with a veteran because normal eatery rules are absent - have to line up inside to order, and then try finding a seat ... best to do in reverse order, but only if... More

good coffee, average baked goods, good breakfast/ lunch menus. can be very crowded and parking nearby is difficult. also quite noisy. waitstaff helpful and friendly. seems to have a mostly young female clientele. lots of dogs on the large patio. they provide blankets for cold weather -- nice touch.

Sideboard is a very popular Danville hang-out that offers both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a diverse menu that seems to be mostly coffees, pastries, breakfasts and lunch (sandwiches, salads and a host of creative sides) -- though they are open until 8 or 9 PM, depending on the day. They also serve wine and appetizers. There is free... More

Cute little place, no pretense but maybe some "we are hipper than thou" attitude. Food was good, prices OK. Nice courtyard to eat in. Parking a mess.

Really enjoyed the interior and the cafe au lait. Loved the fact that this is not a chain. Detested the volume of the music. While men might be able to be heard over the din, it is not a good place to enjoy a relaxed conversation with friends, which I thought was the whole point of a coffee house.😳

This is one of our go to places in Danville. The food is good and we love the casual atmosphere. It is very busy on the weekends, so be prepared to wait. On the week days or off-times, you can always get a table. Tends to be busier in the mornings. I really like their breakfast foods and the eggs... More

I had been to the smaller Sideboard on the main street several times, but not to the new one across from Trader Joe's...but finally I did. It is not your usual sit down and order restaurant...it is an eclectic mix of stuff and different foods. There is an outside dining area, an area for dining under an overhang, an inside... More

You wait in line to place your order! It takes 10 minutes or so to get your coffee. By the time they bring the coffees over, you are done with your breakfast! Since I eat pastry or muffin for breakfast, they are not cooking anything for me. But still it takes them along time. I just don't like the service!
