My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner the night before Thanksgiving. We practically had the place to ourselves. They have a spectacular menu with amazing quality. We started off with a charcuterie board and some beef barley soup. The board had a wonderful selection on meats and cheeses, which we packaged up as a leftover. The chef was kind... More

I attended one of their WIne Dinners and it was spectacular. There were only 8 people attending, 4 couples, and it was held in the wine cellar. It was outstanding. The food was excellent, the wine pairings were wonderful. If you are in the Gettysburg area I can't recommend the Inn at Herr Ridge highly enough.

It was a week night and a little slow, business wise. We had nice seats in the fish bowl out front. very quiet, nice relaxing meal. The lighting was very good. We had no less than 4 people come to wait on us over the course of the meal. One minor strange thing - the web site boasts about roof... More

Had a business dinner there on a Tuesday. About 37 people, the restaurant had an inventive and creative set of apps, but the entrees were less so. The entrees themselves did not meet expectations. Execution needs more experience, perhaps they don't have Sufficient experience with groups of this size and these particular item.

Fine dining scarce in Gettysburg. Had stayed at this inn in the past and decided to have dinner there while visiting. Service was excellent . Food was very good. Ambience good and noise level low enough for easy conversation. Would have preferred a classical soundtrack to Sinatra/Dean Martin style but unobtrusive enough not to bother. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and... More

Fine dining, wine director, hostess, and excellent server , Debbie. Great date night with your wife. Excellent menu. We both selected the Filet, and a bottle of Merlot. One of the nicest meals, which we have enjoyed.

Our room was on the more expensive side (where over $300 is considered expensive), but it was a special weekend so we splurged. It was lovely to park easily and closelyconveniently. It was a nice suprise to be offered a glass of champagne on our arrival, and the staff was welcoming. We were shown our room in person and the... More

Recently, my husband and I dined at The Inn at Herr Ridge. We are steak lovers and were happy to see a Prime bone-in Ribeye steak dinner for two on the menu. OMG! When this big beautiful steak was presented by our wonderful server we were thrilled! A feast for the eyes as well as the pallet and I can't... More

We went to an 25th Anniversary dinner at Inn at Herr Ridge. I had the salmon, asparagus and salad. The salmon was done to perfection, the asparagus was delicious. The salad was crisp and fresh, the presentation was amazing. The greens were in a bread basket of sorts. Our waitress, Autumn, was very attentive and always there to serve our... More
