I've eaten here before for lunch and everything I've had was always fantastic. However, I stopped in last night for appetizers and, well, never again. I ordered steamed clams for $10.95. The clams were so tiny that they fell out of the shells. They were about the size of a dime. I've NEVER had clams that were so little. Definitely... More

The restaurant had standard bar/pub food and good service. Despite being the off-season, we went for lunch on Saturday and it was practically deserted. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend going for the soft pretzel sticks, they were amazing!

We actually visited twice during our stay in Gettysburg. The second visit my husband & I ordered the open face tuna melt. It was fantastic. The reason I gave an "Average" review...I would suggest quieter conversations in the back kitchen area and the cleanliness of the place could be better. Waitresses need to make sure they are washing hands after... More

It was a disappointing date night at Sharpshooter's Grill. My fish was dry and the tarter sauce was thin and without much flavor. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly but had no flavor. It was way too expensive for a meal you didn't like. The couple at the next table complained about dry chicken. Still, the restaurant was full and... More

My husband and I ate at this restaurant for lunch and we enjoyed our meals. He had the Reuben and I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich. There was an event going on where folks could taste different chowders, bisque's and local brews. We did not participate but the folks who were appeared to be enjoying themselves. Our meals were delicious... More

This is a neighborhood bar and grill. It is warm and friendly with good service. Main dining area is warm and cozy with a gas log fireplace. In the other room, there are tables, a bar and a pool table. Not fancy, just nice. Best Ruben sandwich in town. Served with a heap of fresh hot fries. Unfortunately, they have... More

We stayed at the Inn next door, and don't care for formal dining, so we tried Sharpshooters. The building is historic, but little has been done to preserve it. Instead, it looks like a 50's coffee shop that was turned into a bar. Food is close to awful. We had a burger (not sure what kind of meat was used... More

This visit was a big disappointment. Service was very slow and the food was Luke warm when served. Not the best for what they charge. A very small piece of filet mignon as the entre. I can go to the C and D restaurant in New Oxford and get a larger pice of meat at a few dollars less! My... More

We had a great time with the trivia contest and the workers seemed to be having a good time with us. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Except for the girl at the door, she was in the corner glued to her phone. Otherwise, i recommend this bar.
