We were there for Valentines with another couple. It took 4 hours to get served. Have been there when it was much less crowded like early dinner. Service still dreadful. Too bad because the food is good.

After some recommendations, I brought a group of sixteen people to Branzino for dinner to celebrate the completion of a summer project. Here is my experience: (1) As this was a large group, I made the arrangements initially using the contact form on the website, and then by email with Alba. The process was easy, seamless and pleasant. We selected... More

I've been coming here for decades and get rave reviews from the many friends, family, and business colleagues I've enlisted to join me for this great Northern Italian fare. Lovely, linen tablecloth service; with beautiful garden seating, in season. Easy place for conversation as noise levels are always moderate. Great service -- old-school attentive and skilled. Branzino filleted tableside is... More

We dine at Branzino when ever we visit Philadelphia. Cozy in winter and spring and fall the garden is romantic and perfect. Food and service has always been excellent. We booked a table a few days ago - and then I happened to read on trip advisor that they were is some transition period and some changes have caused diners... More

In the front of the restaurant it look quite and small but when we walk inside, it is very suprised with many tables and beautiful decorations. The garden part was wonderful. We enjoyed our foods. I like the Branzino fish.

Reservation for 4 on a Saturday night- we were sat promptly, server greeted us relatively quickly and handed us menus. She was polite, opened each guests menu and opened our byo-wine. I can't remember a time in my life when such a great first impression imploded into one of the worst dining experiences of my life. Service: the server, who's... More

My partner and I both went with friends at their suggestions. We used to live in Philly and were making a weekend visit. The restuarant is charming and beautifully situated an a relatively quiet street. I shared the Salmon Crudo with one of our friends. We both had salads, mine was the endive with English Stilton apple and walnuts with... More

On a relatively quiet side street in Center City near Rittenhouse Square, Branzino Italian Ristorante is a solid choice in a city where Italian food reigns supreme. Particularly recommended by our dining party was the mushroom risotto: the two of us who did not get it were most envious after tasting its creamy mushroominess. My salad was endive, apples, walnuts... More

We dined here on Saturday evening. This is an elegant restaurant that was created from two nineteenth century townhouses. We had the arugula salad, which was well-prepared. The green fettuccine with shrimp was outstanding as was the salmon. The Brussels sprouts were among the best. Service was great, and the BYOB aspect is no problem, in fact, a plus.

Was the second time I was there, Came with friends for restaurant week. They were not disappointed. Although it was very busy, the waitstaff were wonderful, the food was delicious and perfectly prepared.. The home made desserts we phenomenal. I can't wait to go back when the weather is warmer to sit outside and dine there, Home made pasta!
