We went where the locals go Tony Luke's the best. The service is above and beyond. Melba the cashier made sure that my philly cheesesteak did not have back pepper. You are the best Melba and the best present we received from Kevin the waiter...More

14 of us went to Tony Lukes for Cheese Steak sandwiches, fries and cheese curds. Very good and worth the line and wait. Very good roll, beef was tender and the curds and fries done right. Check it out.

With extra sauce. I come here a few times per year for lunch with a friend. Highly affordable. Seating is limited though, and new speakers are a bit loud. Parking is best on the East side of the restaurant.

Food was good, but after driving on a long road trip to visit Philadelphia, last thing I want to deal with is the rude obnoxious older lady handing out the food, constantly yelling with a bad attitude and staring at people as if they are...More

We were recommended to try their cheesesteaks. It was worth the drive and the waiting in line. They have a fast serving system down. Their sandwiches didn't disappoint. They are HUGE, piled with meat, and we could have shared a sandwich. We're impressed with the...More

Made the trip down to South Philly to try a cheesesteak at Tony Luke's- and it's totally in my Philly Top 3. I got a Steak with Shap Prov and Curly Fries and ate the steak with some fries before I was totally full and...More

We wanted to try a new place in Philly for a cheese steak. I will say it was great 7pm on a Friday no line. The fan by the seating sounds area like a aircraft so do not expect to talk over your meal. The...More

Stopped in here the other day. Had the roast pork with brocolli raab and provolone. It was divine. My partner had the cheese steak. She loved it. Service was fast. Ambiance was pure Philly.

Broccoli rabe is a peppery green. If you are on keto, not sure if this sandwich is for you. Once you toss off the bread and veggies, not sure if enough is left to warrant the trip/expense. Good luck.

Definitely worth hailing a taxi! You will be close to the Eagles and Phillies stadiums when you eat there, too. We toured both stadiums and enjoyed those tours.
