Came from PA and moved to So. Cal. been eating cheese steaks since I was a kid. Geno's is the Rocky of cheese steaks, or so I had been lead to believe. I tried it as well as 5 others in the city. Geno's was...More

Everyone knows the steaks are going to be good. The service is fast. The only complaint I have is there is no where to sit. Try eating a juicy cheese steak while standing on a sidewalk next to a park.

Ate here with a work friend. We had a cheesesteak here and then walked across the street and had one at Pat’s. Both sandwiches were really good, but both my buddy and I agreed that Geno’s was the better of the two!

While I grew up outside of Philadelphia and have eaten many cheesesteaks, I had never actually had one from any of the know Philadelphia establishments. We stopped at Geno's so I could finally have an official Philly cheesesteak and I have to say, I do...More

Ate here several years ago, was not impressed. I had a Philly with Provolone and much better. Juicy meat, cooked perfectly, nice people. Very clean. My wife's favorite of the 4 we had today.

Tried both Geno's and Pats we liked Geno's best they were more moist. Parking is hard to find close by. Very few tables to sit and eat at both places. There is a place across the street that has more tables and a rest room.

We went due to this being on the tv show. It is okay but I prefer different cheese. Went with friends and we all had a good meal.

Geno’s was good! Their location is across the street from Pat’s. We did not eat at Pats but did eat at Tony Luke’s- Tony Luke’s is better!

We did a taste test and got one cheesesteak from Geno's and one from Pat's. Hands down Pat's was the unanimous winner. Geno's bread is chewy, the meat is in thick slices and the line moved much slower than Pat's. Worth doing the taste test...More
