Everyone knows that Pat invented the cheesesteak. This was the second stop on my quest to find the best cheesesteak in Philly. I will always order the “America Wit” for consistency sake. First off her order came within seconds, they have the assembly line down...More

My son and I were passing through en route to a lacrosse tourney and had to do the taste test. Pat’s definitely the winner. Best cheesesteaks we have eaten.

Just bring cash and the you can eat the best cheesesteak of your life. I got mushrooms cheesesteak and it was well cooked and delicious. Fries also is great! Highly recommended

So if you're making the tourist rounds in Philly, you are kinda obligated to take a trip to the corner of Passyunk and 9th in South Philly to eat an "authentic" Philly Cheesesteak. I chose Pat's because they "invented" the sandwich. Look, it's a novelty...More

Must try once. Get the real deal wiz wit and fried onions. There are other great places but Pats is a landmark worth visiting.

Pat's may call itself 'King of Steaks' but the truth is the cheesesteaks served are pretty mediocre for Philly. A Philly icon for sure but underserved in the minds of most in the know. Pat's steak is sliced a little thicker and they do not...More

Pat's King of Steaks has good cheese steaks but they are not my favorite in the city. It is definately worth a try since it is an icon in Phila.

Bring your cash and empty stomach. Fries and a 2 sodas 12.00, sandwich 12.00. Have some tables outside. Good meat and not soggy bread. Better than any other place

Pats: shaved steak, very very juicy, cheez whiz and their fried onions are more of an onion pate Genos: sliced more dry than juicy steak, you will chew on some fat a bit, really meant for provolone but you can get cheez whiz If you...More

I tagged along with my hubby who loves Philly cheesesteaks. It's a tradition. The lines are long and fast paced. Pat and Geno's face each other. You are expected to know what you want by the time you make it to the... More
