We decided to try Pat's Philly cheesesteaks today. Last time we came to the area we went to Geno's. I know there are a lot of debates about which place got an upper hand with their cheesesteaks. We just can't tell which one is better. They both are good. It is just a bit of personal preference. I got a... More

My family visited Pat's earlier this week and we loved the Steak sandwich wit Cheez whiz. That 'wit' is not a spelling error but that how you order when you want onions on the steak sandwich. We loved the bread/roll as well as the steak, cheese and onions. Everything on the sandwich melds together to make an excellent sandwich. The... More

Really good cheesesteak. Had to wait in line a bit but you can't go home without trying one. Fries were excellant too.

You have to stop here if you are taking the best Philly cheesesteak challenge . It's one of the best.

When going to Pat's you get exactly what is advertised. A Philadelphia experience that you must have. I have been here several times over many years. This is cheese steak heaven. I recommend putting this on your bucket list. Also I cannot answer the one question always asked; Pat's or Geno's. I have had both and each brings you a... More

I'd never call this a good cheesesteak or even a fair cheesesteak. Food is not great quality and the ambience is gritty at best. Go to Jims or Dels if you really want a great cheesesteak.

Every Christmas, a whole group of family members heads down to Pat's, the original King of Steaks, for some "wiz wit" cheesesteaks. I have been going there for 40 years and it is always great.

I enjoy Pat's Steaks over other competitors for the mere fact they chop their meat and it easier for me to not only chew but to digest.. I only get Wiz without when going.. I wish the outside seating area was closed in during the Winter month's tho, I'd probably go more..

For a first timer, I tried both Pat's and Geno's I like Pat's better as the meat is sliced thinly. In general, it's an ok sandwich - but a must-try if you've never had one. I was hoping for a less tough piece of meat, however.
