We tried a cajun and a middle eastern places and they are awesome. The portions are generous and the food was very tasty. I would recommend Kamal’s Middle eastern place. They serve one of the best swarma i have ever tried.

Interesting vendors, historical building, sort of fun atmosphere. It is not airconditioned, and crowded. Snacks that we purchased there were not fresh, ended up tossing them.

It is a nice place to eat in Philadelphia. There is so much choice that it is difficult to choose. :-) We spent 3 days in Philadelphia and ate every lunch there.

Your one stop shop for anything under the sun! You must go to this historical market anytime you are in town. The best selection of candy, donuts, fruits, vegetables, lunch and dinner offerings... too many to list.

No, they do not but it is easily accessible on public transportation (which I recommend) or there are lots nearby & on street parking (be careful of the PPA- they love to give tickets)

Many of the food vendors have counter service, but not all. There a a few areas with open seating for visitors to bring their take out meals to and enjoy eating while taking in all the sites of the market.
