The fresh and tasty deluxe sashimi platter and an eel on eel roll was plenty food for 2 of us (women, not big hungry guys!). Our order came with one salad and one soup, and an order of rice. Our waitress brought us an ice...More
Makiman Sushi is a small restaurant with a creative master sushi chef. We met another couple there and they had already approached the owner/chef about our evening's meal. Appetizers, sashimi, rolls, teriyaki chicken and dessert were all beautifully prepared and tasted outstanding! Sure, I have...More

The fish is always tasty and fresh. A few times they have been out of Toro or Ikura, two of my staples, but I appreciate that they aren't willing to sell sub-par seafood. The fusion rolls are very interesting and seem to be well thought...More
A great little Japanese sushi house, byo; friendly staff, clean, close to Kimmel, Academy. Have been in several times for pre-theater dinner, never disappointed.
