The food was good. Nothing to write home about. Atmosphere was nice. I think they just re-did the place recently. Nice server. However $102.00 for dinner here is insane. Two main courses. A split appetizer. 1 glass of wine. 1 cider. 1 coke. My friend...had the tattoo pasta. Good. I had the jambalaya. Good. We had fried provolone. Good. I won’t pay that much again for just “good” food. I think the jambalaya was $39??More

We had two salads, and a bowl of soup and the bill came to over $42. We waited an inordinately long time for the salads.

The food, ambience, and service were fantastic! The Rose Tattoo Cafe came highly recommended from several locals and it did not disappoint. The four of us ordered four different entrees and each one was delicious! We would definitely return!

This restaurant was elegant and well designed. Convenient parking across the street. Surprisingly romantic and exquisite food. I hope to return! 20 min walk to The Met.

We were met at the door and told that they did not have a liquor license(it was pending) but we were welcome to go to the liquor store next door and buy our own, there would be no charge for serving it. The waiter was...friendly and helpful and the food was wonderful. We dd have to wait a bit for our meal but it was worth it in the end.More

Food was very good. No complaints but no one told us they did not have a liquor license. Restaurant was recently sold. They gave us complimentary wine which was fine but it would have been nice to know ahead of time so we could have...brought our own wine. Actually made it nice as it was not full so we didnt have to contend with noiseMore

My wife and I love the author events at the Free Library of Philadelphia and have enjoyed dinner at The Rose Tatoo, just a block away from the rear entrance of the library. Menu offers good variety, portions are very generous, wines overpriced. Rating 3.7...on scale of 5. Captain Makai Radnor, PAMore

We walked from our hotel and when we found the place I have to admit walking inside made a difference . The place is beautifully decorated and even though I went with friends , it’s a perfect couple / date choice. The food was excellent,...everything cooked to perfection . The lamb appetizer just had more fat than meat, my only gripe. Moderate prices , but it was an all around hit for all of us.More

One of my absolute favorite spots in Phila fir the past 15 years! Exceptional cuisine, impeccable service. Gorgeous and unique interior design - you'll feel you're dining in a private garden. Fantastic location - always easy to find parking, 10 minute walk to the Barnes.

Easy walk from the Philadelphia Temple. Casual yet luxurious interior that makes you want to dress up and be a ladies and gentlemen. This was probably one of our best overall meals ever. The butternut squash is the perfect sweet/savory blend. Wow! And the fish...of the day was at or near the top of any I've enjoyed. The lamb chop was perfectly cooked. And then there are the desserts.... We'll definitely be popping in just to get more dessert. The top, middle, and bottom of the turtle cheesecake were perfect and the combination was more than the sum of each part. The macademia nut brownie was pure decadence. The chef nails it!More
