I visit Philly from time to time and stay near the Last Drop. I just love this place. Let's face it, at some point the coffee from one espresso machine is all about as good the coffee from the next. And I certainly like Starbucks well enough. So, notwithstanding that there is a Starbucks a block away, I'd never go... More

had a delicious cappuccino and banana cake, but most important is the atmosphere under this 4-meter high ceiling café/salon with wooden paneling - pure bliss in the morning, especially when the doors and windows are open, the sun shines in, and you look into the beautiful trees on the crossing outside.

In my experience, this is a great place to have a coffee and a conversation. Not as many people studying/taking up tons of space with books, and there is plenty of room for a couple of friends to chat. Cappuccino was delicious. Great spot for coffee and a light meal. The Last Drop has great light and friendly staff with good sandwiches and awesome chocolate chip cookie.

A definite comfortable community feel to this place - not only do they serve excellent coffee, but also it seems that customers are comfortable enough to more or less get dressed and perfect their make-up in front of the large mirror. An entertaining diversion. The wi-fi works well too.

This has the great feel of a coffee shop you want to go to for meetings, to do work, or just to pass a long afternoon. Homey, community oriented, great feel.

Small coffeeshop with good coffee, nice muffins and fast internet - later being clearly the reason why a lot of tables have been taken by computers, schoolbooks and alike. Pleasant atmosphere and good service

Among the interesting coffee houses in Philadelphia, Last Drop is among my favorites - especially for breakfast, when I always seem to order a $3 warm breakfast burrito w/ soy cheese & fiery peppers; but if you want to splurge try the burrito w/ avocado, cheese, lettuce & tomato for $5. Not necessarily clean, not necessarily friendly, good coffee, good location, relaxed certainly, did I say good coffee? Spotty wireless (though free) and scarce outlets

The Last Drop is in no way a nice place to hang out, for a variety of reasons. The coffee/food is very expensive. The service is just terrible - I walked in on a whim with my wife while we were walking around our neighborhood, and although my wife was buying coffee to go, the gentleman behind the counter berated...
