Our party of four had breakfast here twice. We did not have to wait in line or shout over the noise to hold a conversation. The food was well prepared and our server, Olga, was friendly, helpful and efficient. We recommend the avocado omelet, Creole...More

Be prepared for noisy and lively! Food was perfect and the check was reasonable for 2 people. Cute for meeting for drinks, birthdays, large groups, or date night:). We would go back in a heartbeat.

Food is only slightly above average and most connoisseurs, of Dominican, Colombian food or others would agree that it hardly represents the culinary delights of Latin America. Service is good though.

My wife and I found this place because the Cuban place we usually go to in Philly was booked. It was a great experience. If you like Cuban influenced food then there is no reason you shouldn’t enjoy the food here. I usually have the...More

This place was very busy on a Thursday about 7pm. Hard to hear one another. Wait staff efficient. I mark it down since I didn't really enjoy some of the food - very chewy and overcooked pork appetizer. My ropa vieja was almost inedible due...More

Totally love the vibe of this place. The guac is really, really good, as are the empanadas. The brunch is also very good.

The empanadas here are delicious. The service is also exceptional, as is the ambiance of the restaurant. I ordered the Ropa Vieja mostly because I make it at home and wanted to see if what I make was close to authentic. Maybe that was my...More

As a Spanish citizen I found this restaurant like a little piece of Spain in the middle of Philadelphia, the food, the language and the place itself reminded me of my country. The food was really good and filling, the flavor is just from another...More

Mixto is a two-story natural wood and exposed brick building located on the east side of downtown Philadelphia on the historic Antique Row. We have been opened for ten consecutive years. Our vision has been to bring an array of flavors of the Cuban, Latin American and Caribbean cuisine to the Center City area. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with bar service and an extensive wine selection. Mixto offers outdoor dining with a South Beach Miami ambiance during the spring, summer & fall when the weather permits.
