Was in town to get a passport. Decided on lunch @ Campo's bc I'm vegan. Had the absolute Best Vegan the Works hot sandwich!! Have had "veggie" sandwiches elsewhere that are usually bland and unexciting to the palate. But Campo's was full of flavor, juicy,...More

I am a connoisseur of cheesesteaks. Campo's is the best I have ever had. From the bread to steak it's dynamite. Can't wait to go back!

All cash and a simple set up. The steak sandwiches were great (as were the fries). Authentic and tasty. My son voted this as his favorite. I am not arguing; it was super good.

Campos was recommended to us by a local and we were not disappointed. My very first visit to Philly and my very first authentic Philly cheese steak sandwich. Delicious from start to finish. Try it with their pepperjack cheddar. Delicious. We also shared a salad,...More

A lot of goodness is packed into this little restaurant, which includes plenty of friendly service! We had the Philly Cheese Steak with provolone, onions and mushrooms: out of this world. Mini cannoli for a treat afterwards, filled on the spot, were oh-so-good. It's small,...More

The food is absolutely delicious! Campos catered one of our meetings. I couldn't have asked for more!! They brought everything, rolls, sternos to keep everything warm, and chaffing dishes!! The staff absolutely loved it! I will definitely call them next time I need cheesesteaks catered!

For nearly 75 years, Campo’s has been serving cheesesteaks, roast pork, and meatballs using recipes handed down through three generations. Ambrose Campo opened in 1947 as a neighborhood corner butcher shop and his son moved the operation to 214 Market street in 2001. Situated in the center of Old City, on America's Most Historic Mile. Campo's offers a great local beer selection as well as several vegan and gluten free alternatives. Campo's has been featured on the Food Network, and is the official cheesesteak of the Philadelphia Phillies, Flyers and Sixers!
