This was my second time visiting the Green Egg. I has the chicken and waffles this time and the skillet last time. Both were well prepared and very good choices. Cash only but there is an ATM that charges .99. Can be crowded so come prepared to wait.

I had brunch here twice, the first time I ordered French Toasts and the second one, chicken with waffles. As European myself, we don't see this kind of breakfast in my country at all, but I can't express the flavor explosion I experimented when I had the first piece of French toasts and same thing goes for the chicken and... Love this place for breakfast and always love the options. The red velvet pancakes will blow the diet, but are worth it every time. The bacon bloody mary's.....if you are not driving....are a must as well.

I come to Philadelphia once a year from NYC because the food in Philly is always a delicious experience. Green eggs is no exception. The salted caramel banana French toast with Chantilly cream is delectable and the lox eggs Benedict is always done perfectly.

This is said to be a local hot spot in Philly and we could see why! The outside was quite misleading. It looked like a hole in the wall place that you could easily pass over, but the inside was modern and comfortably done. The menu had some creative items on it that were twists on classic dishes. They weren't... More

If you love brunch, you cannot skip Green Eggs Café on a Philly visit. My wife and I head back to our grad school stomping grounds one weekend a year, so it's hard to stray from all of our dining favorites, but we've seen the weekend lines at Green Eggs before, so decided to stop in on a Friday. Out... More

I had the pecan pie French toast and I can hands down say it is the best french toast I've ever had. Their mastery of the breakfast staple, paired with various fruit, nut and chocolate fixings is a must try for French toast fans. Friends had the breakfast skillet and eggs benedict and were also pleased as punch. Great service... More

We had to queue which was a good sign. Once seated the service was prompt and we enjoyed our breakfast. The cafe had a good range of food so most diners should be satisfied. We will certainly return

This place is a hot spot; be prepared to wait for a table. We had the vegan french toast with strawberries... to die for! The mac and cheese with bacon and jalapeños... comfort food with a kick! Be advised: they take CASH only. They do have an ATM right in the restaurant if you don't have cash on you. Worth... More

I have been to the Green Eggs Café several times now, and it has not once disappointed. The service is always great, the food is incredible, and the prices aren't too bad. There usually is a long wait, but it is definitely worth it. All their breakfast options sound amazing. I usually order one of the French toasts and it... More
