We love talula's dsily next door also for more cafe style dining. Fun, chic, inventive. A must visit in Philadelphia. A restaurant with a palpable soul. Thanks to Amy Olesky.

Fantastic setting, and the food was equally delicious. Had a great time with family, and our server and service were tremendous. One of my favorite aspects of the restaurant are the lights they have strung on the outside of the patio. Looks really cool from both inside and out! The cheese platter was amazing! Would highly recommend eating at Talula's... More

This was my second visit. I liked it so much the first time I wanted to try it again. The first visit was with my boyfriend. We had a cheese plate that was excellent and not the most expensive one on the menu. Both of us ordered entrees of fish. I loved mine, he was not crazy about his choice.... More

Outstanding! I loved everything! The restaurant has a wonderful patio and at night it is beautiful with firefly lighting and patio heaters to keep you warm! Many of decor materials are repurposed and the interior is fun!! The food is inventive! Our party had watercress and leek soup, duck breast and sausage, gnochi, salmon! Every dish had complex flavors and... More

Loved the outside garden setting of this restaurant so we ate on the patio. Service was very prompt and the server was the most professional and courteous I have ever had. I thought the food was pricey although it is a Stephen Starr restaurant so I'm sure that has something to do with it. I have to say that all... More

Great ambience and even better service. The menu is full of creative dishes and well presented. Excellent choice for dinner. Wine list is fair in size with mostly US wines -- good selection.

Fresh and unique menu with wonderful waitstaff that explain all of the cheeses, selections, etc. Wish we had sat outside ---one of the most charming patios I've ever seen (with heaters)---bring a sweater and sit outside. Salad was wonderful---with goat cheese. Cheese platter was a great start. Wonderful bar inside and outside---in fact the outside table near the bar looks... More

This restaurant focuses on fresh ingredients and inventive dishes with a modern flair. I came in the evening and was seated by the from window as the light was fading outside. The interior is dimly lit with an upscale modern atmosphere. After ordering, a plate with very light tiny brioche filled with a salty cheese just melts in your mouth.... More

Behind the wrought iron gate, past the herbaceous patio and through the atrium is Talula's Garden, the warm and elegant Washington Square eatery from Aimee Olexy and Starr Restaurants. The modern menu, prepared with carefully-sourced ingredients and a light European touch, changes with the seasons. The artful cuisine, hospitable staff, sustainable spirits, and a focus on cheese make the dining experience here incredibly memorable.
