The food was out of this world. Had chosen the fish and chips. The piece of fish was enormous that i coukd not finish it. The atmosphere was very pretty. The service was top notch.

This is a great gastropub. Excellent food, great cocktails, good selection of beer and friendly staff. Great British dishes on the menu. The chef must be very talented.

Dandelion is really a classic British Gastropub located right in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, it is authentic down to the point where like the food in Britain, it is good but not great. The menu is also limited to British pub classics. That’s great if that’s what...More

I went to the Dandelion last night with my husband and it was wonderful. Hubby got Shepherds pie, which he said was amazing, I got the bangers and mash, also delicious. Our server was lovely and the sample breads he bought out were the best...More

An annual get together of 12 friends, all in their + 60s. Everyone loved the food, eggs Benedict, burgers, chicken and the salads. The place was crowded and we had to wait about 15 minutes for our reservation. It was also loud with talking and...More

I met a friend here for dinner on a cool winter evening. After passing the crackling fire on the first floor, we were seated at a table for two upstairs. The atmosphere was pleasantly dark and cozy — perfect for a quiet outing. We shared...More

We looked forward all day to dinner at Dandelion. We had a reservation and we're seated right away in a cozy table near the hearth. Drinks were fine, bread not warm. The Welsh rarebit appetizer was disappointing. A thick slab of bread with dried cheese...More

Walked in on a Friday night without reservations. One hour wait for a table. We went to the bar and ordered a glass of wine, waited for maybe 15 minutes and then were able to snag a seat at the bar. Ended up ordering dinner...More

Parking in Philly is a nightmare, as in any other big city. Try the BestParking app or website. You can look and see what public garages there are near the restaurant. Be aware that city traffic will be tough - you probably... More

Susan, give the restaurant a call. They serve alcohol, not a BYOB place. They have many unique spaces for dining

There is no particular dress code. You can always feel comfortable if you go neat and clean with clothes in good repair. I always like the very casual but very expensive look....
