I highly recommend this place. We dropped in for dinner on a Monday evening. The atmosphere is lovely, lots of dark wood, warm lighting and beautiful fireplace. The menu is excellent. We had the deviled eggs, dandelion salad and caesar salad - all fresh, well prepared and yummy. Service was warm and friendly. The tandoori chicken was fantastic. Will definitely... More

the short answer: JUST GO, and figure the rest out later.... the service - amazing, friendly, helpful & very knowledgeable regarding the menu and giving recommendations the ambiance - cozy and dim; like you're at your great aunt's cottage at 10:30pm the drinks - well thought out unique cocktails the food - seasoning is everything, as mentioned above re: the... Really fun British pub in the heart of Philadelphia. Food is pricey, my preference is the cozy bar. Go for the atmosphere, varied menu, and overall restaurant ambiance.

I loved every thing about this cafe. The ambiance, decor, service and food. Everything was just perfect. And I enjoyed the delicious Scotch pancakes with maple apple and cinnamon cream. Superb!

From the moment you arrive you feel the charm of this place. Beautiful. The duck/chicken parfait appetizer with toasted brioche was amazing. In addition the fish and chips were great. Delicious cocktail was the basil punnet! Highly recommend. We had great service from Greg.

My quest for this Friday’s dinner was a Shepherd’s Pie. The Dandelion knocked my entire meal out of the park. My reservations were dinner were 9:15. Late, Yes! But then again it was St. Patrick’s Day so who cares. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and quickly taken to our table. No waiting and no confusion. We were initially... More

This place is awesome. It has great ambiance, great food, great wait staff! I had the Bibb salad and each leaf was perfectly coated with dressing. The fish and chips were featured on the food network. They were perfectly coated and not greasy. I will definitely be back. Use open table for a reservation since they were busy on a... More

My wife, son and I meet my daughter and her husband at The Dandelion for lunch. This restaurant is styled as an English pub with pub food and American favorites including burgers. They have a number of beers on tap as well as a selection of ciders. The beers on tap include three cellar beers which are barrel brewed and... More

The restaurant/pub is so quaint yet super fun and exciting. The staff was super friendly, engaging, and helpful. We popped in this past weekend for a late lunch (2 pm ish) w/ out a reservation…I was hoping it was late enough to miss the lunch crowd but early enough to not get in w/ the dinner crowd…unfortunately this place always... Recommend stopping at the upstairs bar for your cocktails. Axel serves a proper martini and pimms! Stopped for a little snack and was treated to a champagne for our anniversary. Nice touch. The marinated olives were delicious! Will come back soon.
