Food was fine - some special; some just okay. Service was terrible and weird. Very cold windy Friday night. Restaurant was mostly empty. They sat us right near the door - every time someone came in was freezing. We asked to move to the back of the restaurant - we could see dozens of open tables. There were only 4... More

Our party of 8 had a great time at the restaurant. The German food was prepared well and was delicious. The beer was also cold and tasty. Our waitress was very friendly however the service was a tad on the slow side. Overall we had an excellent time and all agreed they would happily return in the future.

Great choice for lunch for a group of us who had all been to Munich over the years. Not just authentic and traditional meat selections, but excellent rothkohl, spaetzle, et all to accompany. Wide range of German bier on tap, of course. Friendly staff who helped with our meal choices, even given our familiarity with the cuisine. Reasonable price, good... More

Went with my daughter it was crowded but we were able to get a seat. Beer is excellent with a large menu, and the food was terrific. We shared the large sausage plate with spätzle and sauerkraut .Awesome food and drink and the atmosphere is terrific.

Well, we used to LOVE this place...but...not anymore. The service was good, atmosphere fun, but, food, not so good. Ordered 3 apps, German meatballs, salmon and trout spread, fried kraut balls....I'm really pissed about the meatballs..it was ONE meatball, sliced in to 4 pieces!! How insulting..if you don't have enough of an ingredient, then don't offer it, the smoked salmon... More

The bratswere excellent as was the porkchop. And this place serves some of ThE BEST German potato salad I have ever had. The beer list is quite... More

What a really nice looking authentic German restaurant in the middle of weirdo south street. Lot's of beers to choose from! The food was good, the portions were large and the wait staff was on point. However, the restaurant was very loud inside and it was hard to carry on a conversation and the music they played was lame and... More

Visited with friends. Really enjoyed their good beer and the food was dry good! Our waiter was very good. Would definitely return again! Also had their food at the Redding Market. 😊

I lived in Germany for 15 months many years ago. Have visited many times since. Love a good German meal, and that is exactly what we got at the Brauhaus. Long list of German beers on the menu. Great German menu, lots of tempting options, both for dishes as well as sides. My husband and I chose the Gulash and... More
