WHAT A DISGRACE! I was at the restaurant last week and was treated like garbage. To start they screwed up our reservation for a party of 10 people and made us wait outside in the rain while they threw the tables together. While finishing our meals "finishing not done" the waitress began to shove desserts at us. Puzzled we asked... More

If you look at my reviews, I usually write positive reviews. I waited, as I wanted this experience to fade before I reviewed the restaurant. I booked this restaurant a week ahead of a visit to Philadelphia for my husband's birthday and was promised a call from Giorgio. I did not receive a call. After dressing up for a special... More

Made a reservation for a party of 8, based on the recommendation of a friend. Table was ready and waiting for us at 6:30pm. Bruschetta once we were seated. It's BYOB and we knew to bring our favorites. Great specials, house specialty is sweet potato gnocchi, which we had as an appetizer for the entire table. We enjoyed veal, linguine... More

We made a reservation for 6 two days ahead....but when we showed up, they had no record of a reservation. After about 5 minutes, they were able to accommodate us. That was really nice of them considering the restaurant was very busy during the holiday week. Once seated, the first thing the served asked was if anyone was gluten free.... More

I've been back here several times since my less than perfect first visit and it's quickly become one of my favorites. I love that it's BYOB. The food is phenomenal - I dream about the perfect gnocchi they serve here. It's usually crowded and you sit close to your neighbors so it can be noisy, but it's oh so worth... More

We have been to Giorgio's twice now, both times with a crowd (12 one time, 18 another). The service has been excellent both times. Yes it's loud and crowded but that's part of the experience of an authentic Italian restaurant. Appetizers for the table included the gnocchi (excellent) and the salad special (very good). Entrees included the seafood pescatore (very... More

The food here is good but not great. There are better Italian options in Philadelphia. It gets a positive nod for having gluten free options. My husband's pork was tasty and my friend's veal was as well. My salad was so-so but my pasta was fine. The dining room is small and there is nowhere to stand while waiting for... More

Called to book and was told they would open half hour earlier for me during Thanksgiving weekend. Arrived and 4 tables were already occupied. Ordered the calamari as an appetizer and the lemon veal as the entree. Calamari reminded me of traditional Italian cooking. Came with beans, some kale and shrimp in a marinara sauce. Was not what I had... More

Excellent dining experience. The food, service, and presentation were all first rate. My entree was baramundi with shrimp and clams. I couldn't imagine a better combination. Unlike many dining venues, the meal includes two vegetables which is rare anywhere these days. Reservations are required as walk-ins were being turned away. The only negative is that it was a little loud,... More
