Called to book and was told they would open half hour earlier for me during Thanksgiving weekend. Arrived and 4 tables were already occupied. Ordered the calamari as an appetizer and the lemon veal as the entree. Calamari reminded me of traditional Italian cooking. Came with beans, some kale and shrimp in a marinara sauce. Was not what I had... More

Excellent dining experience. The food, service, and presentation were all first rate. My entree was baramundi with shrimp and clams. I couldn't imagine a better combination. Unlike many dining venues, the meal includes two vegetables which is rare anywhere these days. Reservations are required as walk-ins were being turned away. The only negative is that it was a little loud,... More

My new ritual is to get a slice or two from Giogio's before my 1/2 marathon race. The vegetable pizza is very good and I also love the pepperoni!!! Nice big slices!!!

Had a really nice experience at Georgio recently. Friendly service, warm, intimate environment and wonderful food. I'm not a fan of the Caesar Salad - grilled romaine just isn't my thing, but the homemade pasta entree was absolutely wonderful. So, why not five stars? Well... the guy who was cleaning the table next to me who essentially sprayed my dinner... More

We were looking for a local place that had gluten free options. Giorgio on Pine hit the spot. Friendly service and excellent food. My friend loved her gluten free pasta. The bread was slightly toasted with olive oil and garlic was a tasty start. We then had a caprese salad that was large enough to split. All portions are very... More

3 couples spent the evening here for dinner before a show at the Academy of Music (within walking distance). The special pumpkin gnocchi was a highlight as was the shaved romaine salad and the fettuccine with sweet sausage. The service was great and our waitress Susan was very attentive. Giorgio was a charming host.

Giorgio's on Pine was the best meal I had in Philadelphia and is the top 5 Italian meals I've ever tried! It is a hole in the wall kind of place that is a real authentic experience. It's not really a quick bite kind of place, be prepared for a multi course meal. The service is not fast, but it... More

Nice little place we booked a rehearsal dinner for. However, it was on a Friday night and clearly overbooked. We watched through the window as they whisked the party out that was ahead of us. Service was reasonable and the raviolis I had were excellent. No one had any complaints about the food. Just very loud and slow.

With my wife being a coeliac (excuse the spelling - we're from the UK!), finding a restaurant - particularly an Italian, that understands the concerns of cross-contamination and can deliver superb food is very difficult, certainly in a big City; Giorgio on Pine was found by chance on a 'gluten-free restaurant' internet search - and, wow did it deliver! My... More
