We've eaten at Paradiso so many times and it never fails to deliver excellent cuisine and service. My favorite is the boar ragu, but there are so many other main courses that are excellent. The wait staff is helpful and attentive without being intrusive. We love this place!

Fancy shmancy and rightfully so. With an open kitchen and small menu, some regular items like the to die for sweetbread ravioli are all prepared in an open kitchen. My wife had some special homemade spaghetti dish that was out of this world. Seating was tight and loud on that Saturday night, but for some reason not not disruptive. We... More

Elegant, comfortable dining room. The owner/head chef was genuinely friendly. Dillon, our server, was pleasant & professional. Very nice open kitchen concept, although we preferred to be seated by the windows. (Would be a great spot during the spring/summer months when the windows are open!) The warm octopus appetizer was delicious! I was skeptical at first but was pleasantly surprised... More

My husband and I dined here last Saturday evening for my birthday. Our experience was great. We had a knowledgable server who gave us time to look over the menu and also helped us with suggestions for our entrees. We had the burrata app which was very light and fresh full of flavor. Then I had the scallops mushroom rissotto... More

This was my first time experiencing Paradiso, and it proved to be so enjoyable that I am definitely planning a return engagement. My cousins and I had not spent much time together in recent years, and this was sort of a reunion dinner for us. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. Some of the menu choices are unique... More

Except for the odd, prolonged wait to get into the restaurant on a somewhat chilly night (there were 6 people ahead of us who were not getting directed to allow us to enter), this was quite a great evening. We had excellent service and the food was all quite delectable. We started off with fresh bread and olive oil, which... More

We were visiting Philly for a national convention, and our state delegation made reservations, along with two other states, for a dinner at this restaurant. First, please be aware that this is in a small rowhouse type building, and if your group is seated upstairs, it might be difficult for someone who has mobility issues. The food was all served... My husband and I frequent Phila. and tried Paradiso. Food was excellent but there hardly was any for the high prices. My husband ordered sea bass.. It looked like a piece of toast. I ordered tortellini and they gave me 7. Come on. Really???

A much over-rated restaurant, I think. Eaten there several times, and never had a Great meal. I think the great location saves it.

We went relative;y early on a Sunday evening for BYOB- Pretty place. Menu is failrly limited and yet they ran out of 3 items (that we know of including one of the specials)- There were 2 fish dishes on the menu- One was completely gone and there were only 2 left of the other ( we wanted 3) Honestly there...
