Sports bar on entrance to train station. Fairly busy place I was alone and seated very quickly. Waitress was friendly. I went for the mussels that were very tasty. Washed down with a couple of Miller lite. Would return when next in Philly

Great place to have drinks and watch the games but the food was very average, nothing to rave about. Service was just ok.

Lots of beer choices on tap. Decent bar food. It can get really loud and crowded. Fun with a group for a game.

It was ok for dinner. Better for lunch. Food was average. Location was convenient for our family to get to.

Was in the city for a wedding, we stopped here between the ceremony and reception. The bar staff was very rude and had the "I'm doing you a favor" attitude. We were expecting 40-50 friends to join us, however we all started texting the others and went down the street to Bar-Ly and had a great time. The field house... More

We arrived for lunch as the ASHA conference was letting out and the restaurant was flooded with SLPs but the hostesses let us know that two servers were late and they stalled seating us. Once the waitress arrived, she waited on tables that had arrived after us and sort of ignored our table and another couple next to us. We... More

Not sure why we even came here since the fabulous Reading Market is right across the street, our mistake. Tried the famous pork sandwich with broccoli rabe and it was not good. Dipping au ju was pure grease. Sandwich was thin on meat. Didn't eat half of it. Not worth the calories. Also tried the bowl of chili. It was... More

Visited the Field House on Oct 7, to watch my hometown Blue Jays, have a few beers (hopefully with the "locals") and some eats. Game was in the afternoon, the bar was fairly quiet. Bar staff was friendly, lots of variety of draft beers available. Menu was limited to "pub" fare, it was ok, but expensive.

The waitstaff were friendly enough, but the service was very slow. The buffalo pizza was delicious and the sandwiches were great too. Perhaps go for a different option than the french fries... Other than that, the food was great, just be ready to wait. The prices are a tad high for what you get.

Positives: Ample televisions to view sports. Multiple sports games to be viewed. Seating available at bar for meals, if desired. Not swarming with a crowd. Ample beer choices - if that's your thing. Some games available that might appeal to kids / teens. Issues: inattentive, unmanaged, overloaded wait staff. No one working hostess desk - waited 5 minutes for someone... More
