When we sat down, our waitress introduced us and told us that she was also the bartender. We thought that would be fine, but the service itself wasn't great. Our waitress was not very tentative and pretty much forgot about our chips/guacamole/queso order until AFTER our entrees came out. Service aside, I thought the food was pretty decent, nothing out... We visited Distrito for a birthday celebration and they easily handled our party of seven adults and one infant. The enchiladas were excellent as were the large burrito ordered by one of the group. Our 'fussy' eater was taken care of with a quissadilla and she said she actually enjoyed it. The chips were a little thicker than other restaurants... More

This seems more like a place for a night out but my SO and I went for Sunday brunch. Pretty empty, but the food was good! And the staff was very courteous. I recommend the short rib flatbread, it has tender flavorful meat and plenty of cheese.

I must admit I really liked the place for its feel and experience. After Abuleo's in Columbus, I found this Mexican restaurant to be so well decorated. I do not intend to say that the place has traditional looks, but the space is very neatly and beautifully done. The wall of masks was really cool. The seating is very comfortable... More

Traveled an hour to celebrate my daughter's special birthday to a restaurant that we remembered as a very neat, upscale place with fantastic food - a Philadelphia destination restaurant. Apparently things have changed - they first tried to seat us at a picnic table and then crappy metal chairs in a very austere downstairs - the hostess told us the... More

We love the downstairs, more casual taco bar area. No reservations accepted. There is also a great lunch special.

I have Celiac Disease so I was looking to go to a place in Philly that I wouldn't have to worry about getting sick. This place gets high marks in my book. The drinks from the bar were fresh and flavorful! The main dish was on point and delivered on all levels! And the staff was extremely friendly! To top... More

Now this a mix Mexican restaurant, the food is delicious and quite tasting. We try the chef tasting and it was supper, a little different but delicious. The orchata drink is fabulous, now beware the tacos and mainly all the plates are small. The place is a little Art Deco but unique.

It's parents weekend at Drexel! My daughter and I lunched at Distrito...my second visit and just as good as I remember! The guacamole and homemade chips are to die for...amazing (and surprising) chicken tortilla soup and outstanding braised beef tacos. Friendly, unpretentious with attentive service. We'll be back.
