We ate (and drank brews, of course) at this tavern one afternoon, and it then became our 'go to place' for the remainder of our 7 days on Whidbey Island. You must go to this place at least once if you visit the island. Great food (wonderful broiled cod sandwich), great beers, great waitstaff. Check out the deep-fried underpants hanging... More

Nice local bar to stop for a beer. Fish and chips were just ok. Should have had the mussels....they looked pretty good. Great service.

My Dad really enjoyed watching the Seahawk Game at the tavern - think he entertained a few people at the bar

Grabbed a quick bite to eat the evening before their big festival after setting up. Wasn't terribly hungry so had a small salad and shared some fries with my boss. The fries were sooo good, salad was a salad. There was nothing that stood out, but it wasn't a bad experience. Coupeville is a very small town so everyone knows... More

We stopped in Coupeville after our ferry ride for lunch. Mussels were being pitched at all the restaurants on Front Street so we checked in with the visitor center for a recommendation. Recommendations for specific restaurants are not allowed but by the time we left the office we learned the "only" way to eat mussels steamed and the book of... More

Cozy little restaurant next to the water, brew some of their own beer. The muscles are great and the fresh fish and chips are good.

Tried to have late lunch here. Stood there for 5-6 minutes and not a soul would even acknowledge that we were there. It ended up being the best thing that could've happened because we then found Christopher's which was EXCELLENT!!!

Taken here by friends, great food and beer, delightful staff, with relaxed slightly "funky" atmosphere, not high dining but great fun, and the beer is very good.

Don't go for the atmosphere, unless you like a noisy bar. Don't go for the decor; I'm certain that our table has not been replaced since the building went up. Go for fresh, perfectly broiled fish, and go hungry. Baked potatoes were big, and fries were plentiful. I also appreciated that a woman attempting to bring her "comfort animal" in... More

We ordered take out, a burger and a patty melt. Unfortunately the food was only average. When I went to pick it up it seemed like a fun atmosphere and location for the bar scene and some drinks, but not for dinner.
