My favorite Mammoth Restaurant. We used to live in Mammoth 20 years ago. We always tell our friends from San Diego to try it out. The food is consistently good. The staff is so friendly and restaurant is very clean. That's most important when I eat out. I can't wait to go again just to eat at Robert's. I hope... More

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 February 2017 via mobile

The food here is delicious especially after a day on the slopes. Happy hour Margaritas are only 3.00! And all of the margaritas are super good. The burritos are delicious and come with so much meat and seafood! The duck burrito keeps us coming back More

After a full day on the slopes and not stopping for lunch, we were super hungry. Nothing like a good Mexican meal to fill up the tank. Typical fare. Filling. Delicious. Combo platter with chicken enchilada and chili relleno with rice and beans. Wow. Had leftovers that lasted me 2 additional days. Friendly service. Kid friendly. Affordable.

We waited about 20 minutes for a very average meal. I have eaten here before and it was much better. I will caulk it up to an off night and would try it again another time. The salsa was way to spicy and I like a good salsa but this was over the top for the one being left with... More

We heard good things about this Mexican establishment, but were disappointed. After a long wait on a weekend evening, we were a large group that was seated at two separate tables – which took the fun out of our group dinner. Service was slow and unfriendly. Food was average Mexican fare with the standard rice and beans. Parking lot was... More

Let me start by saying we will never return. It was crowded when we arrive but were able to be seated pretty quickly upstairs. I had fish tacos and was disappointed, My husband had the seafood soup (the daily special) and was disappointed. Our son had a burrito, that he ate but said he would not order it again and... More

I haven't been to Mammoth in many years so it's great to see how it's changed over time. Years ago there was a dearth of restaurant choices but that is no longer the case. Craving Mexican food, we found this gem right on Old Mammoth Rd. Lots of interesting choices here - I ordered the machaca with eggs a la... More

Favorite foods include the duck tacos, chili rellenos, fajitas, and the warm chips. Great tequilla selection in the sports bar upstairs. Friendly, efficient staff. Only dish I wouldn't recommend is the quesadilla (greasy). Walking distance from several hotels in area.

We were surprised to find the place so busy on a Monday. Fortunately the upstairs bar area is large and has open seating so we didn't have to wait the 20+ minutes for a table. The carnitas is excellent-- my partner had the dinner plate and I the burrito. Plenty to take home for another meal. The place is casual... More

Great Mexican food. Portions are large, always take home leftovers. They make the best Peach Margaritas.
