We were there for our father's BD. The ambient was OK. The service was poor and server was irritated. We have our elder who's hard of hearing and sometimes messages have to be repeated for him to get it. We are used to it and God willing, we'd be there some day. I'm usually sympathetic to servers having worked in... More

Last evening my wife and I dined at the Hanoverville Roadhouse. The quality of the food was very good but there was one major complaint. My food arrived barely warm. Surprisingly, this included my crock of French onion soup. My entree was chicken marsala which was very tasty -- but barely warm. Either the waitress was asleep at the switch... More

My business networking group meets here ever two weeks. Pam is our wonderful server. The meeting space and the food are all good.

We had a good meal here, it wasn't great. And it wasn't bad either. We got there at 6 PM on a Friday in the place had emptied out by eight. The menu is pretty basic, the salads are bland, and I think a lot of the stuff is not of the freshest local ingredients. There's no wine list and... More

This is a quaint, old inn decorated with historic objects and specializing in solid American food. The pub food was good: burgers were large, the fish & chips were crisp & light (and they had malt vinegar when asked). The service was acceptable. There's an extensive menu of seafood & beef dishes available if you want something heavier.

Stopped in for a business meeting with an associate. Quaint Restaurant, Comfortable Environment With a good menu. New England Clam Chowder, which is made on site was rich, flavorful containing quite a few clams. Broiled scallops were great, with the only disappointment being the French fries which were crinkle cuts like Ore Ida. If they were hand cut internally, they... More

Variety of full dinners and pub fare that always satisfy on numerous visits here. Service and staff have been tops. Rustic looking interior with historic items such as a hanging 19th century rifle. Wine and beer tend to be on the expensive side compared to other local places.

My wife and I wanted to get away from chains. We chose the roadhouse. 1/2 the patrons were dressed nicely, with only a few in jeans. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Clam Chowder was full of clams with good flavor whereas the house salad was average. My wife scallops (big portion - about 10 scallops) with mash and fresh... More

Stopped in for lunch. I ordered the BLT on rye with fires. The sandwich was large and the bacon crispy. The fries were not overdone, but a little thin. The meal was good. I would probably go here again to try their soup and salad selection.

Stopped in for lunch & food was very good. Sandwiches were very good--seemed to be top quality ingredients. Highly recommend!
