It's underwhelming food, but the service is pretty good. But hey, if you're thirsty from all the walking and lack of convenience stores, this place seems attractive. I have never eaten so many fries in the few days here, but you eat what you get served. The French dip was fine, the lemonade good. Don't bother with the pork chops,... More

The place is just ok. The staff are friendly and attentive but service is bare bones. The restaurant is much more like an old diner. Food is plentiful and acceptable. Prices are reasonable. Don't expect much and you will be fine.

had dinner here and then breakfast the next day. we really liked it! portions were generous and service was friendly. price were surprisingly reasonable (not cheap but could have been worse). it was crowded (thanksgiving week) but they were handling it well. the guy at the table next to us said his fried chicken was still frozen, but no issues... We'd eaten here before on one of our previous more or less annual or even twice annual visits and had not been too favorably impressed. This time we were traveling with a friend and went to the 49s for dinner. When we first came in the usher suggested we have the table right at the door where everybody almost falls... More

The service was friendly and attentive, the food was good. Breakfast was somewhat crowded when we were there, but they handled it pretty well. We had good luck with dinner as well.

My husband and I were in Death Valley to see the Supermoon in November and stopped here for dinner. We split a small salad and a cheeseburger and it was still a very ample amount of food. Good beers on tap in the bar next door in the Corkscrew Saloon where we waited for our table -- Badwater Ale is... More

To folks who have travelled to Death Valley you know your options are limited. So it could be much worse. My family and I enjoyed our meals here. The kids menu portions were huge and well priced and our boys said their burgers were great! We had the pasta , meat loaf and salmon during our stay and they were delicious.... More

My salmon was a bit over done and had a not fresh taste. But given the circumstances were you are in the middle of nowhere with limited food options, can't say it was terrible. Had to return veggies as they were a bit cold. But server was trying his best and fast. I would say to bring along your own... More

I had a pork chop and it was so big and tasted delicious. I also had mashed potatoes and veggie combo that tasted delicious also. I don't think you can go wrong getting something to eat here. They also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Short on quantities of tables though. Ask for Corey, he was a great waiter!
