I recently stayed at the Stovepipe Wells Inn so the Badwater Saloon was pretty much a nightly stop for me. It has good food for decent prices and a good selection of beers. The staff are friendly and cozy surroundings. If you are in the Stovepipe Wells area and looking for a quick bite to eat, I definitely recommend the... More

One night the Toll Road Restaurant was closed but the Saloon was open for dinner. The food is average, servings are big. The Saloon is kept quite chilly and the noise level is higher than at the restaurant. Good thing is that you can go there for their wi-fi connection or go to the room next to the gift shop.... More

Stopped in to see the Super Bowl while visiting Death Valley. Meals were reasonable, under $20 a plate with tip. Beers were $4.50 to 6 a pint, which I thought really reasonable for the drastic lack of options/competition inside the park. The Chili was delicious. The BBQ Chicken burger was also amazing. The cole slaw that comes with it was... More

We enjoyed a nice lunch at Badwater Saloon. The food was good, the service was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The atmosphere is very comfortable and fun with timbers believed to be from an old mine and old time movie posters of movies with Death Valley settings. We had the turkey burger and Mac and cheese. Both were very good. We... More

All we wanted was a beer. We sat at a table and had the 3 or 4 waitresses walk by us over and over and over again. One finally said she'd be right with us, but she wasn't. Finally I went to the bar to order from the bartender. He said I had to go back to my table and... More

My boyfriend and I went to this place because it was the only restaurant in stovepipe wells (not to mention the only restaurant in a 30 mile radius). When we walked in, we stood by the door for about 5 minutes, unsure of whether to seat ourselves or wait for a hostess. Neither of the 2 waiters acknowledged us at... More

We had been driven all day through death valley and stopped just to grab something quick. We went in, very coosey and friendly atmosphere! The server was very kind and humoristic. The food was even better! Can strongly recomend their sandwiches!

We spent one night at Stovepipe Wells and had dinner at the saloon. This place was like an oasis in the desert. Impressed with many different beers on tap. The bartender was new, but friendly and we enjoyed his conversation. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Certainly not gourmet, but it was good. We had the... More
