Very retro place...as name indicates..all done in pine. Steaks, potatoes and breads are great. The special salad dressing is outstanding. Cash only and no deserts...owner bought next door Baskin & Robins so you can get desert there!!!! Definitely a place to return to...

A Dayton tradition for good reason. Excellent steaks and sides, great, but not intrusive, service and a very traditional atmosphere. No reservations and no credit cards are throwbacks, but tolerable and even endearing ones.

This restaurant ages it's own beef. There is no better steak in Dayton although the Oakwood club is certainly comparable. Come early (4:00 - 5:00) to get a table fairly quickly. Otherwise the wait can be up to a couple of hours. This restaurant does not take reservations and never has. In addition, it does not accept credit cards of... More

I recently spent a few weeks in Dayton on a business trip. I asked around for the best place to get a steak, and was told either Flemings or the Pine Club. I went Pine club first, as it seemed more unusual. Man was that right. First thing, they don't take credit cards. Cash or check only fortunately, there's an... More

Ok no green beer for us just the best steak ever. I didnt give 5 stars because we felt rushed even though they weren't busy. I am very picky about beef having raised our own and this was worth every penny. Just remember it is cash only.

We waited a long time to try the Pine Club, as friends highly recommended it to us. After finally trying it, we were not very impressed. The steaks seemed quite flavorless. The atmosphere was very loud and hectic, but it was a Saturday night. The decor was nothing special, a bit dated. We arrived at 4:30 and they open at... More

I was stuck in Dayton for four years working at the base but kept forgetting to try this restaurant when I lived there. Whenever I was in that area, I was always on Main St, not Brown St. I now live in a northern suburb of Cincinnati, and oddly a retail situation took me up there. So, I decided to... More

Our family of 4 ordered take out as there was a new baby at home. The food was ready in 20 minutes. Steaks were delicious and cooked as requested. Garlic potatoes good as were the veggies. Salad was subpar but I guess it's a steakhouse so... Staff was friendly and helpful, bar/restaurant was clean. Prices are a bit high but... More
