Every single person on our family from age 7 to 60ish LOVES Peking. The food is excellent. The take out or delivery may be long during peak times/days but it's worth it.

I moved to Ventura in late December. Found this place nearby, and didn't expect much (is in a shopping center between a Von's and a CVS) But boy was I surprised. Very happily indeed. I go every weekend. Everything is delicious, so fast my favorite is the Pungent Chicken. But, there's a lot of menu left to explore!

Ventura does not have many Chinese restaurants. We had seen good reviews of this one and liked the looks and the attentive staff. Prices are moderately high. We ordered the "Chef's Dinner" for 2. I chose the shrimp in lobster sauce, my partner the moo goo gai pan. My partner doesn't like spicy food, and we sure didn't get it!... More

This is not only the most attractive Chinese restaurant in town, it has the best food and the best service. One time while eating dinner there a huge tour bus pulled up in front and 40 Chinese people exited the bus and came into the restaurant. I was told it was a tour bus of people from China touring Southern... More

This restaurant continues to please. Good food, generous servings, great service and staff. Also good for takeout, and dim sum on the weekends. Lunch or dinner, we're always happy with Peking. Easily the best Chinese in town.

I love Peking duck and come here for it when I can. They serve it with pancakes and not the squishy rolls(yuck) upon request. We come with friends and family to enjoy the duck and also cashew shrimp. Staff is wonderful - friendly and helpful. I am hungry just thinking about the duck. Going to call now because it takes... More

We call this place Margaret's -- because that's the owner's name. We eat at Margaret's at least once a week. We love this place! The food is fabulous -- you can order regular Chinese food, but there's a "secret" Chinese menu if you like more authentic food. And you can also ask Margaret to make up something special to surprise... More

We wanted a late lunch after running around with a tired toddler. They serve a good variety of dim sum--all day long, for as long as it lasts. It took 15 minutes (we could have called ahead). Easy parking in a shopping center next to Von's and CVS (run some errands while you wait). Dim Sum was okay, but we... More
