Small pizza shack with picnic tables outside. Large slices, crispy crust. NY style. Mine was a little burnt.

I walked in for a slice and asked if it was fresh. He said right off, it is a couple hours old and I am about to make a fresh one. Ordered cheese and it was so good. If you like thin crust, this is it. I was just in Ventura for the weekend and had three slices at different... More

Back to the basics! Great pizza and a side salad. As In&Out is known to do a good basic menu, so is Tony's. No fancy garlic bread, no dipping sauce, just GOOD Pizza. The dough is some of the best I have ever had, and the sauce made by the Pizza cooks fresh, NOT out of a bottle or massed... More

Based on the excellent reviews on TripAdvisor, we went to Tony's Pizzaria for our pre-race (1/2 marathon) pizza. We were impressed by the way the staff began immediately tossing the dough for our pizza as soon as we ordered. The pizza was delivered on an unassembled pizza box inside a large paper bag. The pizza was deliciously hot and the... More

We were visiting Ventura and read the reviews about Tony's Pizza. The thin crust pepperoni was fantastic with lots of old-fashioned grease and yummy cheese. Can't wait to visit again and head right to Tony's.

I have passed by this place a hundred times in the past but just went in yesterday after a trip to the Topa Topa Brewery. Don't let the look of the place deceive you. The pizza was great! Chewy thin crust. They do slices and a soda for $5.99 There is more seating than just the picnic tables out front.... More

We had to check this place out after seeing some reviews of Tony's. It really is a shack, not much room inside, so we ordered a pizza to take back to our hotel. The pizza was really good and we enjoyed talking to the owner as we waited for the pizza. Check it out if you like great pizza!

You would never expect driving past this shack, that they have the best pizza you will have while on the west coast. It is a tiny shack (no exaggeration) that has just enough room to make pizzas, room for the oven, and standing room only for ordering. The pizzas are not perfectly round, and strangely they put the finished pizza... More
