Highly recommend the Farmer Omelette (with egg whites) and the fruit side. The fresh fruit is spectacular with melon, strawberries, blackberries, grapes, pineapple, watermelon, and blueberries! Spicy sausage in the omelette is delish!

Love coming to this breakfast/lunch cafe as the food, everything on the menu, is always delicious. The waitresses all seem to have tats and are forever courteous and efficient. The Hash is one of my favorites, home-made, and the best in So Cal that I've tried. They also have home-made biscuits that are nuclear in size, taste great. They also... More

We went for breakfast and the choices were great. I had an omelet, but the hashbrowns were the best part, cooked through and crispy on the outside. They also offer these amazing biscuits with homemade jam. Yum.

We stopped at Allison's Country Cafe about 10:45 on a weekday to find it was crowded. Once we were seated, we waited quite a while to be served our breakfast. Although, both lunch and breakfast were on the menu, all of us ordered breakfast. It was good but not fabulous. The "biscuits" are HUGE. The home made jelly was yummy.... More

We really enjoy Allison's. It's friendly staff are a delight. We have only come here for breakfast and have been very pleased! Locals frequent it. Can't go wrong here!

Typical diner food with excellent quality. Most enormous biscuits--2 per order--and served with homemade raspberry jam. A Ventura local favorite.

Went here based on internet ratings and were not disappointed. Food and service were both great, if we visit Ventura again will definitely return!

Too many delicious choices. Salsa: Yes. Biscuits, another yes. Eggs, oh YES. They are sooo fresh and perfectly prepared. The service is wonderful and cheerful. Husband had buscuits and gravy, eggs and hashbrowns. Try the strawberry jam! It is not to be missed!

Both my wife and I love a big breakfast. I'd been to Allison's before when visiting my daughter so took my wife and other family members his time. Our wait time wasn't terrible considering we had 6 in our party. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The portions are a good size and very tasty. The biscuits and gravy are... More

Ate breakfast here and had chilequiles. Food was mediocre and I also asked them to spice them up. The chilequiles came wit a few sprinkles of green pepper on it. When I got the bill, they had charges a ridiculous extra charge for the ten cents worth of peppers. Will not be back.
