Had a nicely prepared lunch. The chicken coconut soup was very good indeed and the main course Ped pad was done nicely. Service was very attentive.

We had the Price fixe (5 courses for $19.00).This included 2 appetizers, salad or soup, noodles and vegetables, and dessert. The portions were very small for each course but enough for us to eat. It is a small place on Restaurant Row and I believe there are more of the same restaurant around the city. The service was good. There were... More

It is a thai restaurant, near Brodway. At the first glance can not catch your eye but once inside the ambient is good, there are plenty of asían people ordering food and it uses to be a good sign. We had vietnamese rolls and walnut crispy shrimps as starters... Not special. And as main dishes a green curry and a... More

Had the 5 course special for $17.99. Soup, salad appetizer main course, desert. Chicken soup, salad, dumplings (were awesome), chicken peanut sauce. Salad was very small for western standard was served on same (bread) plate as 2 dumplings. Main course served with plenty of rice on side, desert of fried banana. Overall was very tasty, clean, with friendly service. We... More

Been there many times and Bangkok House offers a wide variety of traditional thai dishes. Most likely the best Thai-Ice-Tea I had in a long time. I can recommend the pineapple fried rice, the Thai Basil and of course the sweet fried bananas. Very friendly and welcoming service. I can highly recommend this restaurant to tourists as it is close... More

I was just walking around looking for a place for lunch and saw the $7.95 lunch special. You can't beat that price in the theater district so I gave it a try. And what a surprise. Excellent food. I would definitely recommend it. There are so many places to eat in that area that it is good to have someone... More

We are fans of most oriental food styles - and this did not disappoint, so much so that we visited twice. The first visit - exceptional food and service. We were presented with the lunch specials menu, 8 / 9 dollars for a 2 course lunch - very filling and well presented. The second visit was a bit different- we... More

While waiting for our show for The Book of Mormon, we decided to walk around and get something to eat. After walking a few blocks we saw a nice row of small restaurants and after debating which might work, we chose this delightful, little place. There were only two employees working the front of the house and both were very... More

Had a wonderful dinner last night with friends at the Bangkok House. I have been there many times, it is always good, but last night it was exceptional. From the food to the service it is top notch. Not the most beautiful restaurant, but a good friendly atmosphere with a very reasonable and delicious menu!

A downstairs location in restaurant row. Its a good location for pre or post theater. It's not flashy and it's even feels a little worn. The service was good. We were checked on often. We were really impressed with the price here. We had five courses for $17.95. This is a real deal for New York! I had a salad,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
