First time here, was very impressed. It's a small 50 seat operation with a minuscule open kitchen. We enjoyed watching the very busy chefs in action. The black seabass special was outstanding as were the arugula and endive salads. Even the lowly Tagliatelle Bolognese was...More

What a great spot! I visited with a fiend and we had dinner at the bar and shared a bottle of wine. Everything we ordered was mouth wateringly delicious. We had the charred ramps (my favourite); chatted octopus; bone marrow and carbonara. This was quite...More

This is a very busy and compact restaurant. We had a perfectly pleasant meal but it was not exceptional, especially given the wide variety of Itallian restaurants in NYC. A well executed small menu. Service was good.

Fresh pasta is the specialty. Bone marrow as an appetizer? First time I've ever had that one! Good wine selection and excellent service. The place is tiny and the tables are close together but it is a very good date spot

We ate here on my 21st birthday and it was terrific. It's definitely the place to be, with people dining out (like us) but also, the suits coming home from the city, welcomed by a delicious meal. The staff were just brilliant, and made my...More

This small Italian got everything right. Very intimate atmosphere. Service was excellent. Our waiter was informative and had a terrific sense of humor. Menu is small, but everything was prepared perfectly.

I really enjoyed the food and the service. Tables are tight but the food is delicious. The chicken was so tasty and different, portion was enough for 2 people. Mussels were also great. The service was very helpful and friendly, Prices were fair.

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you
