Walked past Naruto and saw small line: aromas caught our attention and we waited for table; sit at a counter and watch subspecialized cooking of ramen and wontons; menu a bit confusing but the wontons, fried rice, and ramen were great.

The Miso Ramen here is in taste and flavor. Chicken with curry will make your mouth water with excitement. I highly recommend coming here when you are in New York City. Customer's service is outstanding, which another reason to come here.

My best friend found this place about 4-5 years ago when we would attend Bikram Yoga. We'd be famished and this place would fill our bellies! This is a counter restaurant that deal with cash only. Over the years they have expanded their menu to include the steamed pork buns as well as the spinach noodles (you can order a... More

We went about 7 on a Friday night and had to put our name on the list and wait about 20 minutes. There are about 10 staff and seats at the bar overlooking the cooking for 20 diners and service is fast and efficient. People don't hang around. You see your food being made about 2 feet from your eyes.

We had a really great dinner here. The place is small. we went around 5 in the afternoon and were lucky to find 3 seats together because when we were leaving there wasn't a stool to be had. I ordered the seafood ramen and was very happy with the flavor and amount of food. They have lots of sauces available... More

You'll sit on a stool in a narrow restaurant, and watch as your meal is prepared. Friendly staff, great price, CASH ONLY. Lots of food, couldn't finish it all.

By far my favorite ramen shop in New York City. Your palate explode with happiness because the Miso Ramen amazing taste and flavors. The Takoyaki is great as well. I highly recommend anyone living or visiting New York City to come eat here.

This is a great little ramen bar which also serves amazing fried chicken (which I highly recommend you try). I have had the miso ramen 5/5, Naruto ramen 5/5 and the curry ramen 4/5. It's a great local place to eat, drink and feel like you've been swept off to Tokyo for a little while.

We went to naruto yesterday to try japanese cuisine. We had the "naruto ramen" and a seaweed salad. It was really unique. If you are in the neighborhood, worth the visit.

My family enjoyed this ramen bar. I had the Naruto Ramen. The broth was great, and the pork was delicious, not too fatty. I was sad to see the bottom of the bowl.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
