Just got into the city and needed a quick bite. Popped in and saw lots of awesome looking pizzas. Got a cheese slice and was not disappointed. There are pizza places everywhere but this one is good.

Had a scallion cream cheese bagel with bacon and my boyfriend had a Philly steak sandwich. Cream cheese was tasteless but rest was okay. Friendly staff, dirty premises. My food was $4.90 which is okay for NYC.

Just needed a light breakfast before the (busy) day starts. Some bargains to be had here, e.g. Bagel w. Cheese and small coffee for $2.50, ham, eggs and potatoes for $6.99. No need for anything else till this afternoon. Cakes look really good, but not this time. NB: of course, add tax to all prices.

This is my go-to place if I'm stuck somewhere near Times Square and need a quick chopped salad, slice of pizza or cup of soup. Staff are quick and efficient and surprisingly friendly. You might even forget that you're in NY.

Had tix to a nearby show and stopped here for dinner on a whim. Pizza slices are huge and my dad enjoyed them. I had an enormous salad that I built myself as there were a ton of fresh toppings to choose from. Lentil soup was also good. It's a little pricey, but I guess that's expected for that part... More

I have always consider all pizza good. Just some better and some best. This was only the second time in my life the pizza was uneatable! $17.00+ for 2 slices, a water & a pecan bar. At least the water was cold and the pecan bar was good.

You could easily walk by this place without giving it a second glance - thankfully we went in (the fact that it was full of New Yorkers and packed despite it being small with not many tables is usually a good sign!) I had the best cream cheese and bacon bagel I had ever eaten (toasted Heaven!) at a reasonable... More

Music too loud, counter help not friendly, food marginal - as long as you don't expect too much it's almost ok

Small place, could be a bit cleaner, but the price and quality of the food was very good. $3.50 for a breakfast sandwich with a small coffee included.

Great pizza and sandwiches. I always make time to drop into Carve when I'm in town. It has a tendency to get busy from time to time, but the food is well worth the wait.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
