This is a very busy restaurant. My friend and I scored 2 seats at the bar for dinner, which was perfect for us because we like to chat with others. I love fish tacos, but being from California, hesitated to order them -- silly me!...More

I know, I know, one is not supposed to have fish on a Sunday night in a restaurant. Caution was thrown to the winds, and the outcome was mediocre at best. Service was surly and frenzied, with dishes being bused off the table prematurely. Noise...More

Spent a Late Sunday afternoon here after a walking trip through Central Park. Very impressed overall - oysters (Barcat) were fresh and delicious. Service was very good - we must have drank 2 full pitchers of ice water. We will be coming back.

We live in the neighborhood and manage a visit every year or so. Tonight was probably our last attempt: underwhelming food, curt, stressed-out service, and an $85 bill for two. Not quite sure why we need to return.

Always fresh fish. Clean preparations letting the quality of the food shine through. Happy hour $1 oysters a real value. The lobster rolls a personal favorite. Fries with old bay a nice compliment. Never had a bad meal and eat there often.

Wow! Get there before 5:00pm in order to get a seat. You can order two dozen at a time which insures that all tables have oysters coming without a long wait. Sat at an outside table. Lots of other great food on the happy hour...More
