* Ordered the lunch time special - bento box - teriyaki salmon * Informal restaurant but was very busy during the lunch period so assuming it's popular for workers around the Times Square area * The yummiest sushi I have ever tasted and plenty of food is provided (salad, soup and your bento box) * It's a place I would... It may seem like just another sushi bar but having eaten at Toyama Sushi regularly for more than 4 years it's better than most around and not expensive.

I visited for an early dinner on a weekday. The staff were eating after the lunch crowd and prepping things, but someone popped up to serve me. The food was fresh and tasty. All of the flavors in the sushi rolls were distinct. The spicy bits were well-controlled. They have a major brand orangeade that works perfectly with raw fish.... More

We dodged into here for midday Sushi with no Trip advisor glance beforehand- we both enjoyed our food. It's a place for midtown workers to grab a quick and economical lunch- good for a quick fix

Great sushi for a great price. Try the spicy king crab salad and the eel avocado roll. Sapporo light beer.

If you want a reasonably priced sushi meal in midtown, this is a pretty good spot. Attentive service, sushi was good, and it did not come at a New York City price! You can pay more and go to a nicer place but this is a very good spot for an inexpensive sushi meal.

This restaurant is also known as Atoyama sushi. As sushi-addicts from Europe, we were thrilled to find a all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. The waitress was nice and the sushi came to our table really fast. The sushi we choose were served on 1 plate, so everyone got their own chosen sushi. Really good quality, fresh sushi. Will visit again when we... More

Took the family here for dinner after spending a fortune at the Manhattan Mall. The place looks pretty average. It is clean and well lit. We had salmon rolls and pork katsu bento boxes. The salmon rolls were stuffed with salmon. The $17 bento box included: pork katsu, shumai, shrimp and vegetable tempura, rice, miso soup, and salad. It was... More

I visited this restaurant with a friend. Since other Japanese restaurant was full of guests and we were hungry, we chose this restaurant. We ordered, for appetizer, Edamame (bean) which was fair, and Gyoza, Yakitori and Elephant Eyes (squid stuffed with various food materials) which was not tasty. We ordered 12 pieces of Sushi for two of us, but they... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
